Beautiful & peaceful place. We did a group camp site that was well worth it and very clean. Night time was a bit rough as a half mile away some other campsite was partying until 3am and then the following night a police helicopter kept buzzing over our heads from 12am-4am searching for someone. Still giving this five stars though as the place was incredible and those may be one off anomalies.

Beautiful and peaceful lake. Clean restrooms nice sitting tables and bbq pits available for grilling. My family and i enjoyed our time here. Be careful with the small children in some areas could be dangerous for them.

This is such a peaceful place to see the wildlife and scenery of the Mogollon Rim north of Payson. An hour drive from Phoenix. There were fish jumping in the water, and there were bald eagles circling overhead.

Beautiful place to be in the summer. Worth the drive. The only thing on this trip but not They have construction going on for more parking and better roads. So in the mean time parking is kind of limited.

A pretty mountain lake with great fishing. It can be a little messy near the shop and it tends to be pretty crowded in the summer.

Simply beautiful! Love that they have the store with basics and groceries! Love that they have boats available to rent and I heard the fishing was good that day!

Crowded during holiday weekends.
Clean campgrounds and quiet unless the recent road construction where they start at 5am. Books out a year in advance
