My experience at Winchester Hospital was unbelievable. I can’t thank the entire staff enough for being so caring, kind and patient. Both my Labor & Delivery room and Recovery room were very clean and tidy. Every single nurse and doctor we encountered were so present it felt as though we were their only patients. My birth experience was incredible and a lot of that had to do with the wonderful staff. THANK YOU to all of them and see you for the next one

I had a fantastic experience at the ED during my visit for a sprained ankle. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was seen quickly. The nurse and PA were compassionate, attentive, professional, and informative. I truly felt cared for—thank you for making a stressful moment so much easier.

I recently had an endoscopy done at the Winchester Endoscopy Center at 10P Commerce Way. It was clear how nervous I was and it honestly could not have gone any smoother. The nurses were so kind and considerate, the procedure was a breeze, and Dr. Na was there before and after the procedure to check in on me. I highly recommend.

I gave birth at Winchester Hospital last weekend and I cannot say enough good things about the L&D and Mother-Baby Unit nurses and staff. I had a long and painful labor, and everyone that my husband and I interacted with from the reception staff to the nurses who stayed by my side during the worst of my labor and recovery pain, to the doctor who safely delivered my baby after 3+ hours of pushing, and all of the subsequent doctors, lactation consultants, and pediatricians we met post labor were caring, responsive, deeply human, and went out of their way to help us and answer our questions. I sincerely believe that I wouldn’t have made it through my labor successfully with my beautiful, healthy baby without the attention and care provided by the entire team.

Yes, the hospital is older and may not have the fanciest of everything, but we were comfortable throughout our stay and I’ll take competent and genuine patient care over aesthetics any day. Perhaps other units of the hospital leave something to be desired (I have no other experiences there) but if you are planning on giving birth locally and want personalized community care from competent professionals, I highly recommend Winchester Hospital.

Im a 31-year-old African American woman and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I arrived at Winchester Hospital by ambulance in severe distress—vomiting, in pain, and experiencing diarrhea—yet was left in the lobby for over five hours without medical attention. Staff showed a lack of compassion and delayed treatment even after I clearly communicated my needs. I was later informed my magnesium levels were critically low, placing me at high risk of cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, this wasn’t my first experience of dismissive and inequitable treatment at this facility. It’s deeply concerning and disheartening.

Im given anxiety and worry by Dr. L. Lee and strongly advised to go to ER so they can admit me, put me on IV antibiotics. Well I get here around 8 they take bloodwork, results come in in maybe half hour in my chart and 5 hours later I'm still sitting in the waiting room. Even asked them to page her when i first got here. Foot is supposed to be up and its been planted on the floor for 5 hours. Apparently it's not as life threatening as she made it out to be since I'm not on an IV, bloodwork was fine and nobody seems to care that it may be a staff infection and I'm cutting circulation by sitting here this long. I'm going home to get some sleep and put my foot up.

My daughter had her tonsils out at Winchester Hospital - we wouldn't recommend any other hospital over Winchester. The nursing team was amazing, her physicians were awesome, and the experience at the hospital really helped us get through a difficult procedure.
