The staff here were very helpful. Very informative was able to teach me things that I did not know about historical route 66 and gave me pointers of places to go that were must see in their town. Fun fact Disney's cars was modeled after all the little small towns around route 66 in Arizona and from this particular small town Luigi's tire store was modeled after a small gas station from their town. Also stretch of I-40 was the last to be done around this small town back in 1987.

A great visitor centre with super friendly staff and plenty of souvenirs for those so inclined. It’s worth spending 15 minutes taking a look at the small museum attached It affords a small glimpse into the towns history. Of particular interest was a scale model of the town circa 1959, and a small exhibit on the Mountain Men. Parking is free at the visitor centre, and throughout the entire town.
