We had the best time as a family of 6! Shelby and Fiona did a wonderful job helping our family experience the landscape north of Scottsdale, while tending to the attention and curiosity of our kiddos! Very family friendly!!!

Couldn’t recommend enough. Shelby has something great that she has created in following her dreams and passion.

We will return next time back to the Phoenix area for sure! May even go visit our in Idaho during g a summer sometime!

This is one of the best adventures you can do in Scottsdale. First off Fiona my guide was super knowledgeable about the Preserve Area that the ride goes through. She was so sweet was willing to answer all my questions about the area.
The horses are well trained and very well taken care of. The trail area is absolutely beautiful filled with wild life. Seeing the mountains at sunset was amazing.

We are Canadians vacationing in Arizona for the second year in a row. Last year was our first visit and we booked an hour long ride for our family (my husband and I and two daughters) which was one of the highlights of our trip. Our entire experience with Wild West Horse Adventures was amazing. My daughters were 8&9 at the time and it was their first time riding a horse, as well as my husbands first time. Shelby and her staff were so great making my girls comfortable and feel at ease. The beautiful scenery and weather also added to the fantastic experience. When we booked our family vacation this year again in Arizona, my daughters immediately said "we HAVE to go horseback riding again, and it HAS to be with the same company as last time!" Despite staying further from Scottsdale this year, therefore making the drive to the trail where Shelby and her crew ride from nearly a 2 hour drive, my girls didn't care. They would much rather ride with Wild West Horse Adventures than choose another horse riding company closer. The experience, yet again, was nothing short of perfect. From the friendly tour guide T. to the wonderfully trained horses who know what they're doing and are so calm and gentle, we had the most amazing afternoon. We are already looking forward to returning next time we are in Arizona!!

Shelby is an AWESOME guide!! We got to experience a wonderful sunset ride (worth every penny) during a bachelorette trip to Scottsdale, AZ. Mountains in the distance were coated with snow (only happens twice a year apparently), and the colors were so vibrant. The horses were calm and obedient, which is great for beginning riders. Banjo (my horse) was the best! 10/10 would highly recommend.

Wild West Horse Adventures was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was so well organized and welcoming. Our guide, Shelby, was absolutely fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting stories. She made the ride not just beautiful, but also engaging.

The horses were so well-behaved and clearly very well cared for, which made the ride relaxing and enjoyable even for those of us who don’t ride often. You could really tell how much time and attention goes into training and looking after them.

The highlight, though, had to be the sunset ride. The scenery was breathtaking — golden light spilling across the landscape, painting everything in warm colors. It felt like stepping into a postcard. I can’t recommend Wild West Horse Adventures enough if you’re looking for a peaceful, memorable, and truly special experience!

Fantastic, truly a great experience! Our guide Fiona was warm, welcoming, and talented. She help the new rider in our group feel at ease while trusting the competence of our more seasoned rider. We had amazing time out in the trails with Shelby our guide and our horses!! This was such a memorable experience and Wild West Horse adventures made this so much better than we expected. They were very nice and offered guidance so we felt really comfortable during our time. My horses 🐎 name was lefty, he was very nice and all of their horses are very well taken care of. I highly recommend them!!

Shelby and Fiona did an excellent job of guiding our rather large group of varied experience levels through a beautiful 2hr trail ride. They were knowledge about the area and local wildlife, and were confident and competent in choosing the appropriate horse for each rider. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area looking for a fun, relaxing adventure!
