Fantastic owners and great team. They made the experience special. Loved the views of steamboat. It was amazing to be there during a balloon festival. If you have any doubts or are scared of heights, the team is professional and safe. I had an absolute blast and would totally go again.

Had an amazing time flying with Wild West Balloon Adventures. From making our reservations with Bud to the actual flight everything was smooth, professional and fun. Communication before and day of our flight was spot on. Bud and his crew were highly skilled, knowledgeable of the area, the balloon of course, engaging and made sure everyone had a great time. (Especially Michelle!)The flight was absolutely spectacular! Flew with my husband and two daughters ages 12 an 9 and they had a blast “marking off a bucket list” item. Pre flight breakfast treats, traditional champagne/cider toast and merchandise were also on point. Highly recommend flying with Wild West and will be back for sure!

This morning we took an unbelievably beautiful ride! We have always wanted to do this, but somehow couldn't give up a morning of skiing. Our advise to all of you skiers and boarders, take a day to enjoy the mountain from the balloon, it is truly magical. Bud and Stacia were great pilots and the entire crew made it an adventure of a lifetime.Perfect bluebird day, floating above the valley, seeing the runs of Storm Peak and Sunshine...what more can we say except thank you!!!

Went on a morning ride with my mother. The pilot was super friendly and knowledgeable.
Prices for the ride are very reasonable.
Make sure to wear a jacket.
I had issues with heights before the trip and felt very comfortable.

This was a fantastic experience! Bud and his whole crew were the best. Bud was patient and knowledgeable and very safe. We had the pleasure of booking the day before the balloon festival so a lot of others were in the sky with us. I definitely recommend!

WELL WORTH the money!!! This hot air balloon ride is unlike any other experience. It is exhilarating and incredibly peaceful at the exact same time. It is the perfect way to experience steamboat after hiking and snowboarding and recreating all around town on the ground. Bud was an awesome pilot and the chase crew members were all friendly and very professional.

From coffee and donut holes when you get there, to a champagne toast with a great story at the end, they have thought of every detail to create the perfect morning!!!

Wild West Balloon Adventures in Steamboat Springs, CO is AWESOME! First, the owners and crew were the friendliest you could ask for. I was anxious about going up, and they completely put me at ease. Once we were in the air, Pilot Bud’s knowledge and ease of conversing, explaining how the hot air balloon works, pointing out landmarks and jokes brought a lot of calm. There was nothing to be nervous about. It was just floating in the air, checking out the amazing views and a gentle landing. I highly recommend Wild West Balloon Adventures!
