This was our first time to Whoa Zone and we loved it! Parking was super easy since the lot is steps away from the beach. We chose the unlimited pass. They do make everyone exit each hour. This gave the kids time to rest. The beach was very nice. You can bring floats too which is fun to lounge in the water.

The kids had a blast and the lifeguards were nice and helpful. Parking is $5 an hour and the Whoa zone cost $23 a person.

My son had an awesome time with his friends. Will definitely be back very soon to enjoy the beach. We went on July 3rd closer to 6:00. They were trying to set up for the fireworks. The staff didn't inform us that the beach was closing so that they could set up. They were pretty nice about it. However, the area police were extremely rude, especially when I expressed to them that I had recently had a transplant and And lupus and that I was dizzy And wanted to make sure I was able to drive. They didn't even acknowledge it or even care. They just said I need to leave or they would have the car towed. And there was no need for a rush because there was a line leaving the park. I will return to the Beach hopefully when I have to encounter them again.

Interesting way to spend some time at the beach. The beach is pretty dirty and there's a ton of rocks. The shoreline is pretty narrow, so walking around everybody's camps is a pain. Parking is way over priced, even with all the parking money they couldn't even have the beach showers on. Be prepared to ethier pay cash at the beach entrance or walk down to the concession stand to pay with a card, O and have who ever is going to the play area with because they need to be present to get the arm band. The life guards are a joke, I'm 6 foot 2, I got yelled at while standing in 5 foot deep water for not having a life jacket on, I even saw a dad get yelled at for having his son on his shoulders, craziness. Overall it's a experience worth trying once.

We had a blast at WhoaZone! There were a few small hiccups, but it didn't ruin our time.

First off, do not go here if you do not know how to swim. Even with a life jacket, you need to be able to swim. Someone near us fell in the water & panicked because they thought they were drowning. This is an inflatable obstacle course in a lake. You're going to fall into the water, and it's too deep to just stand up.

Secondly, be prepared to secure your valuables in some way. There are no lockers there, but there was a heavy police presence & cameras in the parking lot. The WhoaZone employees told us that most people keep their phones, etc. in the car. It costs $5/hr to park, so hopefully some of that money is going to security. You're going to need to pay up front for at least 2 hours of parking, so be prepared for that.

Third, once on the obstacles, keep your eyes open. They let WAY too many people on the WhoaZone, and there simply are not enough lifeguards to watch them all. In a few places, the obstacles were a little deflated or floating apart more than they should be. Sometimes you're just going to have to jump onto the water to get around them. They sell water socks to help your feet stick to the rubber, and while we didn't get the socks, the people who were wearing them seemed to stay out of the water more than we did!

Lastly, there's a place to spray yourself off with clean water at one of the beach entrances. Swimmers Itch is a real thing that happens in lake areas like this, so rinse off before you leave & shower well once you get home!

Overall, we had a GREAT time, and we'll probably come back some day!
