We didn't actually go into Epes. We spotted a turn-off just before the bridge and parked by the road. Views were nice, but access is limited, and parking is also limited at this location.
It appears to be where the local juveniles go to enjoy adult beverages by the trash scattered about.

Parking is tough to spot, but you have to pull off right after the bridge and park almost under it. No other parking nearby. But great views!

Neat! Got to walk a little ways. Have proper shoes and attire. Needs more signage and some informational signs for historical education.

Someone should take some initiative near this place and open it up for the public, disgusting how the local population does not see any value in such beautiful nature.

I did the under the bridge thing in the early morning ...
Baja threw the muck and had the place to myself ... So I broke out the cocktails and then later took a nap and got back on the road this is perfect for me.

Thumbs down to Alabama for not making it to where we could see them without walking on the bridge that blocked our view. BUT worth the backroad trip for sure. We did walk on the bridge to take pics (it's a rural situation) and it was worth the trip. Be proud, Alabama! We have beautiful country, great state parks, and sweet tea!

Heads up. If your looking for this. There is not a place to park. You have to pass bridge and park. Then walk under the bridge. Place across the road is Private property.
