If I could I wouldn’t give this place 1 star but then I can’t leave a review!My dad was at this facility for 20 days for rehab. He was no better than he was when he first went in. 30 mins of occupational therapy and 30 mins of physical therapy a day doesn’t even come close to being enough to get someone on their feet! The room was filthy with food and bugs in the windowsills, bathroom needed repairs and not to mention the video I have of the roach bugs! I witnessed used dirty gloves lying around in the hallways on the tables. My dad laid dirty for an hour while I was there before someone came to clean him up! I called about this incident and was told they would investigate write up a report and give me a call back, never received that call. My dad also had to wait 2 hours or more for someone to answer his call light. Sometimes the CNA’s would come in behind the curtain and turn the light off and leave. Not even checking to see what he needed. After about a week of being there I asked the nurse can my dad get a shower. He assured me he would get one on that shift. My dad’s CNA for that shift came in and said I’m going to give you a really good bed bath. I told her the nurse said he could get a real shower. She stated because of the stitches she couldn’t. On our way out the nurse assured me again he would get a shower. I said really and told him what his CNA said. He called her over to speak with her. My dads CNA did get his shower! I feel like that CNA just didn’t want to get my dad up. Quit being lazy and do the job you signed up for!! I don’t know the male nurses name but him and Jay the CNA were the only ones who were helpful and really cared about the wellbeing of my dad. So for all this I do not recommend this facility for your loved ones.

I have called numerous times to talk to the billing department and have had no responses. They director is either in a meeting or on break, or will not return my 9th call. I have been hung up on . However today takes the cake. I finally got someone to answer and she works in the kitchen. I would strongly at looking elsewhere for a loved one there

I Wanna Thank The Caring Staff for being Genuine Loving Caring and Sincere.....
My Momma is there for Therapy for now and Hopes They Continue to Work with Her on all of that for quite awhile to get Her Stronger...
I wanna give a Very Special Appreciation to Christa and Sommmer Who are Amazing and Love Momma..
She is So Much Happier here than She was in the Previous Assisted Living Who Didn't Meet Her Needs ....
Now We Know She is in a Place that Goes the Extra Mile to Take Care of Their Residents....
Thanks Yall All for Making Our Momma Feel Welcomed Comfortable and Secure...

My father in law was admitted today for rehabilitation. He has already called his wife twice tonight, the place is filthy and staff isn’t taking care of the patients, my mother in law is going there in the morning to assess the situation and most likely going to take him and contact home health services, this is February 18, 2025. It’s a terrible thing that people not only allow this but it doesn’t seem from all the reviews that the administration is in no way trying to change, just take the money and forget the patients. The replies from admin is almost identical to every review, but it doesn’t appear that nothing has changed

My father was in here last this past April. He came in for rehabilitation because he had a fall at his home and the doctor sent him to Wetumpka. He walked in on his own with a walker. He came out in a wheelchair this experience with Wetumpka Health and rehabilitation LLC. was horrible ! Did I mention it was horrible and incredibly nasty he sat in his own excrement for hours before someone would change him if at all.. they are terribly understaffed. The workers had a terrible attitude as though they didn’t want to be there, taking care of other people. I would not bring my cat there to be taken care of. We did make complaints to the staff and were told that it would be taken care of. IT WAS NOT EVER TAKEN CARE OF ! The physical therapy that he received was terrible. He lost muscle mass while he was there because they did not properly exercise him. When we alerted staff that this was happening, they said they would take care of it.
If it was possible, I would give them a 5 negative star rating!

Horrible place. Roaches, unsecured doors, dried blood on toilet, medicine not given, lost clothing, patients left covered in feces, family not notified of serious medical changes in their loved ones, uncaring cold nurses. My dad stayed only two weeks and this is what I found every day I went to visit. Please stay away from this atrocious facility.

My mother’s care at Wetumpka Health & Rehab has been great. The staff has been very helpful with all the insurance and financial documents that are required. Kimberly, Gracie,and Minnie have been very compassionate and understanding during this stressful transition for my mother and our family. I would highly recommend this facility. The aide’s and nurses are very attentive to her needs. And are willing to help or answer any questions.

My dad has been at Wetumpka Health and Rehab since he lost mobility last year. The staff work hard and generally do their best to take care of their residents. My dad has shown improvement since he's been in the facility, when he first started he struggled with his mental health and eating enough but the longer he has been there the better his spirits have gotten and he's starting to eat much better. I live out of town so I appreciate that I get regular calls with updates about his heath.
