This place is amazing!if you are looking for a great vacation, Westgate River Ranch is the place. I have food restrictions and the chef (Jose) took his time to ensure my meal was 100% right. Samuel H our server, was amazing and everyone from the resort truly understand the meaning of service. Job well done!! We will tell everyone about the amazing experience we had. ❤️🐴

100% recommend Westgate River Ranch as an adventurous, outdoorsy and unique family getaway. With our particular booking, all resort activities were included; this made it simple and technically cheaper for all of us to do a plethora of activities. Food and items around the resort are reasonably priced. Everything was super clean. Despite it being a holiday weekend, we were glad it never felt overly-crowded. All of the workers were super nice, helpful and patient. With one exception, the server at the restaurant by check-in area was somewhat rude, however the manager quickly remedied the situation. More bathrooms on property would be a plus; bike paths/sidewalks for the many young bikers would help keep them from taking up the streets. The rodeo was delayed to start, but was fun and engaging. It was our first time experiencing a rodeo and well worth it if you haven't been - the MC was great. So many activities for the kids (whether they're toddlers or teenagers) such as mini golfing, rock climbing, bouncing pads, petting zoo, skeet shooting, and much much more. Beautiful landscaping and well-kept animals. Overall it was so lovely of an experience. We WILL return soon and with others!

We had a great time at Westgate River Ranch. Johnny did a superb job on the air boat ride and on the river boat cruise. Alec also did a fun (and very bumpy) swamp buggy ride. Juan really went above and beyond to help me with the foods on my diet at the Smokehouse Grill. The hayride with Andrew singing away was fun. Samantha did excellent customer service and called back to make sure everything was in order. All in all it was a super weekend.

Westgate was an absolute delight! Jeremy went above and beyond to show my family and me the animals. I ended up hugging Ronnie and Sugar! The food was simply amazing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it. 10/10! B

There are several accommodation options here. Our friends had a great larger cabin with a nice view and well equipped. Ours was more like a hotel room with a kitchenette. It was supposed to be a queen mattress but seemed like a double. Overall, although it was older, it was clean and adequate for our needs. It didn't have a 'resort' feel, but it was a place that has many fun activities for families and kids, so is a great option for families and friends. The people were friendly and helpful! ||We had a great experience at the casual Smokehouse BBQ spot on the river. However, I cannot recommend the upscale restaurant, River Ranch Cattle company (at the check in location). We were one of just a few tables in the place, and our service was slow and inattentive, food was mediocre, and the worst part was that the server added in a 20% gratuity and didn't tell any of us (party of 6). We are excellent tippers having worked in service industries most of our life, but to add a 20% gratuity for lousy service and not tell us it was added, leaving a line to add the gratuity was unprofessional at best and deceptive at worst. Just be aware that you need to look at your bill carefully.

Great little camping get away to relax and be surrounded like nature. Unfortunately when we went early November there was construction as they build the new water park, which will be a great addition. Family friendly place due to the animals around the park. They had a small free petting zoo which is awesome. Along with pony and horse rides available for purchase. I also recommend staying during the weekend to take advantage of extra activities like the rodeo. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved this place and the warm welcome from everyone! Jeremy went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had an amazing and immersive experience. We got to learn about and feed the animals, and even had the chance to wash the ponies! Indiana was incredibly attentive during our horseback riding session, making sure we felt comfortable and had a great time. You can truly see how much they care for the animals, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We came to this resort to celebrate my son's birthday. We drove an RV and rented a lot for the long weekend. One of the things that he was most excited to visit was the petting farm. Upon arrival the place was clean and animals were just eating breakfast. Jeremy was in the mist of cleaning the stalls and greeted us.

From the beginning of our conversation you could tell that Jeremy was passionate about all the animals that he looked after. He took the time to explain things and answer all our questions. Not to mention he went the extra mile and allowed us to interact with some of the animals and also gave us additional information about each of their personalities and talents.

This resort would greatly benefit and receive much participation if they had some kind of interactive tour or experience for kids and adults to help at the petting farm or get a behind the tours scene. Please consider this! Or even be a Ranch hand for the day!
