We treated our mom to an adventure for Mother’s Day and we had an unforgettable experience at Canyon Creek Ranch. Our incredible guide, Rich was great! From the start, he made us feel welcome and was especially patient considering we are new to horseback riding. The horses were calm, well-matched, and clearly well cared for.

The tour also included axe throwing, pistol shooting, and archery, making it even more fun and memorable. We highly recommend Canyon Creek Ranch and Rich for an amazing outdoor adventure!

My husband and I visited Phoenix for a wedding from FL and I made sure to book a horse riding trip while there. Western destinations seemed to have great reviews and photos online so booked it. We were not disappointed and was so beautiful and relaxing. Rusty was our tour guide and he was really awesome and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend even if you are true beginner at riding. Will do again if we are back in the area.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of doing a horseback ride with Western Destinations Canyon Creek. The staff were awesome and our guide, Bill was awesome. He was a great guide and had lots of great info about the area and all its surroundings. The views were stunning, the horses were so gentle and the experience in the old town was so much fun. The food was great too. Try the Chili, and no, they won’t give you the recipe. LOL.

The coolest horseback ride! Took my wife here for her birthday and Rich took us out. The little town was such a cool touch. Definitely check the freezer in the saloon! This ride was 1000% worth it. Will definitely be back!

This is a must do in AZ if you enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of the west! We could not have thought of a better way to end our trip in AZ. Felt like I was right at home here. Bill did a phenomenal job as our guide. It felt like family to us throwing axes, riding horses, shooting guns, and drinking beer! The views were stunning, the conversations were meaningful and the horses were great. We would love to come back here with our kids and more family members. Thanks for such an amazing time Bill!

Couldn’t ask for more!! Such a unique experience for horseback riding. Really sets this ranch apart from any other horse riding ranch and I’d definitely recommend this one over any other one in the Phoenix area.
