We decided to take a trip to the Florida Keys. Unfortunately, we picked on of the busiest weeks of the year. We wanted to go deep sea fishing, but because of a fishing tournament held that week, all the charters were already booked. However, Wendy made about 30 calls and was able to find a charter. We would never have found it on our own. As a result, we had an amazing day and everyone that went caught the biggest fish they had ever caught.

I had never worked with a real travel agent before, and didn't really understand the value until I saw how much knowledge about the area and how much work Wendy put into making sure we got the most out of our limited time. I don't know if all travel agents work as hard as she does, but I can say for certain we would have missed out on some really great experiences if we didn't have her help.

The "I don't know what I don't know" factor really applies to traveling to an unknown area. She took into account who was traveling, how many, how much time we had for everything, etc. She made suggestions I wouldn't have thought of, and talked me through ideas I had that seemed like a good idea, but wouldn't have ended up being the best experience.
