What a FABULOUS spot to park. The hosts, Heidi and Scott, are so kind and VERY knowledgeable about the animals at the ranch. We even got to some fresh eggs! The neighborhood is great for walking dogs, running, or walking. It's close to Alpine, but with spectacular views. We will DEFINITELY come back. Check out their shop on Holland Ave in downtown Alpine, too.

I recently had the privilege to hang out with these incredible people and their even more incredible animals. Carl was a party all by himself, but I also loved holding hands with the kangaroos, petting the donkeys, and talking with the alpacas. Next time I'm out this way I will definitely stop by.

Stayed here via Harvest Host/Boondocker's welcome for RV folks. Scott and Heidi are great people, have a wealth of knowledge, and run an amazing ranch full of interesting and friendly animals. So many personalities. Carl (a camel) was a highlight for me. One of a kind experience, and I look forward to having an excuse to come back here again sometime!

Wow!!! I met Heidi at their store in downtown Alpine and she told us about their Wranch! Luckily we were able to come take a tour during my daughter’s spring break. Heidi and Scott are incredibly knowledgeable about all of their animals and some of the kindest people we have met! They told us so much about each animal including their names, backstories, and silly talents (such as the alpaca who twiddles sticks in her mouth). My husband, daughter, and I were blown away and highly recommend taking a tour here. By the way, Carl the Camel will try to steal your hat right off the top of your head 😉

Recently got to visit this wonderful little animal farm. Heidi was so accommodating and lovely. It was easy to find, had a private afternoon tour and loved every minute of it! The array of animals was wonder and they were all so friendly. Highly recommended for anyone passing thru Alpine!

We love Wassermann Wranch! The animals are so well cared for and friendly, and Heidi is a wealth of information and obviously loves what she does. A “must-do” for adults AND kids!

Adorable! We stumbled upon their shop in downtown Alpine where they had a little sign posted that you could visit their farm! It was about $10 per person to see a small variety of animals! The woman who showed us around the farm was able to tell us interesting facts about the animals and even let us give them treats!
Do go by their shop to schedule and maybe even grab some alpaca socks!
