We took this boat tour last Wednesday, and I have to echo all the other reviews—this is an experience you DO NOT want to miss! If you're in the area, make sure to do this at least once.
At just around $8 per person, it’s incredibly affordable, and even though it was the end of January (with Florida having seen snow just a week before!), we were thrilled to still see plenty of wildlife. Alligators, manatees, and a variety of birds made for an unforgettable trip through the gorgeous spring waters.
Our captain, Carson, was the perfect guide—knowledgeable and informative while also keeping the tour fun and entertaining. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the area!

We had a wonderful experience.
The area is beautiful. Seen a lot of wildlife.
Enjoyed the history of the area as well as a great boat ride . Make sure you buy your tickets online in advance. They sell out !

We did not go to the restaurant but have been told by many people that it is a very good place to eat . But that you should allow yourself up to two hours before the boat ride if you are planning on eating there and then take the boat tour .
You can bring your swim suit the spring is 69 degrees all year around .

Someone told us about the manatees at the historic Wakulla Springs Lodge. AMAZING!! Best $8 i have ever spent. It did cost $6 to enter the park and then $8 per person for the 45 minute boat ride. We saw alligators, blue heron, egret and best of all, MANATEES!! BEST was after the boat ride, we walked to the diving platform and saw a momma manatee and her baby just casually swimming across the spring. Amazing!! Highly recommend going if you are in the area!!

Fantastic! Our captain was energetic and informative, and so good at spotting elusive critters while flawlessly managing the boat. Booking in advance made things quick and easy. A must-do activity while visiting the park. As someone who remembers when the water was crystal clear and >150ft looked like 10ft, it is sad to see those days are gone and the last little glass-bottom boat sitting idle.

Great tour that excels the balance between protecting nature but also educate to make sure we respect and appreciate the flora and fauna. Make sure you check out the dive tower before heading on to the boat as you might be able to see Manatees. Those calm and impressive mammals are really a highlight!
