We made a special trip to Springfield in March to secure a venue for our son and daughter-in-laws baby shower. We were happy with the facility, but were misled about payment. We paid everything in full in March, including an open bar with beer, wine, liquor and non- alcoholic beverages. We were dumbfounded when we were told we owed an additional significant amount. This is unethical and I would not recommend this venue.

Ms. Kelci was amazing to work with!! I had to plan my first referral holiday party and wanted it to be AMAZING!! After a few calls I found Venue 1929. The event turned out wonderfully. I (she was) able to plan my party within budget and she made it look SO beautiful! The bartender was extremely accommodating. People are still talking about what a great night it was!

Wonderful venue for a smaller wedding! We had 100 guests and we all fit so comfortably. Kelci and Robyn were so great to work with and even helped us set up. Our bartender Duane was so fun and kind to our guests, we had so many compliments on the venue and service. Highly recommend booking for your events!

My wife and I had our wedding reception there on November 2nd. It was an amazing space. Robin is an excellent and accommodating host. The venue holds about 110 people, so if you're looking to have an intimate wedding reception (or other event), this is the place. There's a balcony, which gave the kids an excellent spot to hang out in. We had 96 people at our wedding, and we were still able to have a good-sized dance floor for all of our guests to dance their hearts out. There's a spacious corner for a well-suited DJ setup. Robin also built a beautiful bar inside where people can line up for drinks. There's two bathrooms and a backroom where a caterer can set up, too. (We did a buffet style.) Don't worry about the acoustics with the high ceiling and the tile floor; once you fill up the space with people, it all sounds great. The giant chandelier is gorgeous, and it is hung from the original woodwork! It can also be dimmed along with the side lights when the whole party is ready to dance! Venue 1929 is a very special and memorable place, especially for vintage-themed lovers. Parking is limited right outside the venue, but that is a non-issue. Guests were able to use the lot across the street. We couldn't have been happier with Venue 1929. 10/10: we wish we could plan our wedding reception there again.

I had my wedding reception at Venue 1929 and it was perfect!! We had about 100 people and it was the perfect amount of space. There was still room to dance, but it was also intimate and cozy feeling. Robin and Kelci were great to work with and were quick to respond to all my questions. The bartender was also so friendly and great! It’s a stunning venue, very pretty, and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I just had our wedding here last weekend (October 7th) and it was outstanding. The owner has a nice selection of decorations to choose from to best fit the theme of your event. You can also bring in additional decorations and decorate yourself or pay them to decorate for you based off your ideas. The owner replies fast and is easy to work with and offers good advice for event planning. The bartender Victoria was great. She worked quickly and efficiently. There was hardly ever a line at the bar cause she was knocking them out. Our wedding reception turned out beautiful and better than I could’ve imagined and I’m greatful we chose Venue 1929 for this event. 10/10 would highly recommend for anyone needed a location to host an event.
