Great views and scenery,, no snakes today. Very rocky and abrupt hills. The river is down.

This relatively new trail head is lovely because there are rarely any people on it, it is flat and easy to walk, there are wildlife tracks in the dirt of the trails and it leads to more trails that access the Sespe Wilderness.

There's shade on part of this trail! So you know it links up to other trail heads. (Is that the right word to describe other places to park and join the trail? Well now you know that's what I meant. ) People let their dogs off leash here. There was a recent coyote attack of a dog in the early morning. The dog was as big as the coyotes and was fine however it's a wake up call for dog owners. Apparently the coyotes are active around both sun rise and set. Parking is small though usually enough during the week and crowded (as are the trails) on weekends. This location is down at the end of Old Baldwin Road. There's a gate before the parking though I don't know if it's closed at dusk and reopened at sunrise. The trail is easy and sometimes there's water in the river.

Really beautiful, quiet hike, always something new to discover. Easy enough for smaller children, but there aren't facilities, so keep that in mind, and it can get VERY hot.

This walk it surprisingly awesome and it goes right down to the little wash River and there's neat little trees and Moss to very quaint nice little spot to walk with the family very easy to do not hard all flat the whole way a couple small up and down spots nothing that an elderly or small child can't handle

Beautiful old California Oaks, great walking trail, stay to the right of the compost heaps if you don't want to smell them. Beautiful wide open space.
