Vangie was referred to us by our wedding venue as a preferred coordinator. When she reached out, my then-fiancé Fay spent nearly an hour on the phone with her, discussing the vision we had for our wedding, which was still 11 months away at the time. During the call, Vangie seemed more focused on upselling additional services, such as décor and flowers. At the end of the conversation, we asked her for some extra time to go over our notes (since she had declined to provide a written proposal) and to decide whether we would need any of the additional services. We also informed her that we were likely to hire her as a day-of coordinator—something she kept insinuating she rarely does.
Soon after, my fiancé caught the flu but continued to work on our vision for décor and flowers every day so that we could give Vangie a better idea of exactly what we wanted for our big day.

When we followed up with all the details a week later to move forward, she responded with, "Your date is no longer available." We found both her response and her behavior to be extremely unprofessional. Every single wedding vendor we worked with provided an automatic courtesy wedding date block of 1-2 weeks (or more), including the day-of coordinator we eventually hired. Our guess is that, because we didn't show enough interest in the additional services she was trying to upsell, she decided not to work with us. She completely wasted our time and energy and couldn’t even extend the courtesy of reaching out before giving away our date.

Vangie is nothing short of amazing. From the very first phone call, I knew she was the one for me! She has every aspect of weddings down to a t. Planning a wedding is already very stressful but adding Covid on top of it makes it even more so.

Vangie was our wedding planner and florist from the beginning and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. She took care of every detail before and during the wedding and created my dream wedding I had always envisioned. When we were hit with covid she took all of my worries away by taking safety procautiond and constantly reassuring me everything was fine. Where to even start!? I am going to write a long one here and maybe it’ll help you se more of the amazing quality you are getting.

There are a ton of wedding planners out there with great reviews and we all know it. It’s hard to decide who to choose from style to personality and all great wedding planners encompass the same great qualities. However, Vangie still stands out from the others. Plus, she has the absolute best personality, style, and pure class. She also makes a bride feel more special than anyone else on the planet.

What are 5 things that make her stand out above the rest?

1. Vendors trust her. It’s pure excitement when you tell them you’re working with Vangie. Every single vendor I called, before I ever consulted Vangie on vendors, had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Each one had a sigh of relief for themselves that everything would go smoothly if working with her. I don’t know how many emails came back with exclamation marks when I mentioned her name. When your vendors love your wedding planner then you know you have a stellar team working together, which is so important I’ve learned over the past year. She’s definitely held as a celebrity wedding planner in many vendors’ eyes.

2. Vangie is going to ensure your wedding is smooth and as flawless as possible. She works tirelessly to ensure your needs are met. She’s not afraid to put her foot down and get things moving if she needs to do so on your behalf but she’s always kind and respectful, which I can see why vendors and venues love working with her. She makes everyone’s life easier. With all the added stress of wedding planning, you can at least feel confident whatever Vangie is doing for you whether it’s wedding planner, decor, day of, etc., it’s being done to the highest caliber at all times.

3. Destination wedding? You need Vangie. You need, need Vangie. I couldn’t have done this without her. She knows her venues and people. I was afraid of another “event planner” after having a bad experience and Vangie put my mind to ease. Whether you’re a destination couple in the United States or overseas, she can do it all and she knows it all. She is highly educated in her field and of the surrounding areas of some of the most prominent venues, which is invaluable. Plus, she works so well remotely and in-person. I had no fears being hundreds of miles away, and no worries.

4. She is a load of class, greatness, and fun sass. Look ladies, if you want your dream wedding planner that has a stellar personality along with impeccable style that brings every detail of your desire into your wedding, yes and yes! I loved every conversation and fun time laughs with Vangie. She brought my vision to life in every single way I could have imagined and then some. Her decor choices and wedding coordination was beyond perfect. I’m still beaming over my wedding decor and bouquet reveal. She truly learned about me so that she could help further bring my ideas to life and ensure my wedding day was truly what I wanted and envisioned. A pure dream.

5. Lastly, rehearsal! If you’re nervous about your ceremony, you will not be after your rehearsal with Vangie. You won’t even bat an eye at what to do or have to worry about any of your wedding party. She is extremely detailed and every single person in your wedding party is given attention so they understand, know their role, and places for the day. Everyone commented that my rehearsal was the most informative and best one they’ve ever attended; all of us have been in numerous weddings.

On the recommendation of the venue we decided to hire the services of Vangie de La Concha as coordinator of my daughter's wedding, from the beginning the unprofessional attitude of the lady caught our attention, in short we had to do all the work ourselves, even to practice the rehearsal of the ceremony she put obstacles and conditions. We decided to cancel her services and go with another coordinator that we had used at my first daughter's wedding. What a big difference. Of course she never returned the deposit we had made to her, even though she hadn't done anything yet. I do not recommend this lady.
