Long Story Short: Vanessa is awesome, hire her!

Long Story Medium: Despite everyone's advice to hire a wedding planner, I was convinced I could handle everything on my own. Now, I understand why they stressed the importance of it. Planning a wedding is incredibly stressful and time-consuming. It's essential to get the help you need, and that help came in the form of Vanessa. I truly appreciated the way Vanessa orchestrated a meaningful event that we'll cherish forever. She added those special details and a touch of love that goes a long way, especially when you're in your most vulnerable state.

For instance, I had this vision for my Juneteenth wedding where everyone would have a Pan-African flag to dance with (I'm a Jamaican bride, and I wanted to infuse some Caribbean flavor into the Juneteenth celebration). However, finding those flags proved to be more challenging than I anticipated. They were either too large like flag pole flags or too small like napkins, and some were just too expensive. I have no idea how she did it, but on the day of the wedding, Vanessa handed me, my husband, and our wedding party these flags. I'm still baffled by where she got them, but she made it happen.

Here's another story that exemplifies Vanessa's character. My wedding colors were emerald, cream, with a splash of gold. The chargers were gold, but the vendor had an additional cost for gold cutlery. Towards the end of the wedding preparations, I was reluctant to spend any more money (wedding spending fatigue is a real thing). I was on the verge of giving up on the gold cutlery, thinking that not every detail could be perfect. However, during the room reveal just before the reception began, Vanessa surprised me with the gold cutlery. It may seem small, but it meant the world to me. This is the kind of planner you're signing up for - someone who gets the job done and does it exceptionally well. Thank you, Vanessa, for everything.

Wild Child

Wow is all I can say. Vanessa is such a professional and knows all the right things to do to keep a bride calm. From the day we hired her, she constantly kept in touch with us and was very attentive to every detail. She is such an expert at improvising when needed and was always prepared. Her professionalism and passion for what she does definitely have us the impression that she was on the same page with us and the rapport we were able to build with her, made her like family to us.
