We had a wonderful relaxing week in the Casita at Valle Verde Ranch. The bed was comfy, plenty of hot water in the shower. The kitchen was well appointed. A full-size fridge was so helpful, and along with the stove and BBQ made making meals easy. The little patio was a delightful place to enjoy our meals when it was warm enough, and a nice table to eat inside then it was not. We enjoyed the porch swing while watching butterflies, lizards, and hummingbirds visit the wildflowers blooming everywhere. There are many feeders on the property attracting many bird species. The property is beautiful and so relaxing, I even had a little siesta one afternoon in the hammock on the property after hiking on the adjoining Anza Trail. |While it was not warm enough for the pool, I enjoyed star gazing from the shared hot tub at night, a highlight for sure! And speaking of highlights, we were able to see Javelinas one morning, right on the property!|The Casita was perfect for the two of us, comfortable and laidback. The owner Doug and Manager Jerry were both so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The whole experience exceeded expectations. We would love to come again.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Casita at the Valle Verde Ranch. The place was clean, easy and flexible with checkin, and had everything we needed. And What a beautiful setting! We loved walking on the beautiful Anza trail, accessible right from the property. We spent a whole day birding on the trail, walked into Tubac village for a lovely lunch, and more walking / exploring the trail afterwards. Would highly recommend this place!! We'd love to return!

This is an iconic and palatial Arizona ranch house with outbuildings all thoughtfully renovated to accommodate various configurations of guests. The character of this lovely property is accentuated with themed art, rustic landscaping, and a warm Arizona welcome. We stayed in the Quilt Room for two nights and so appreciated the cozy room and thoughtful touches to take advantage of the space. Enjoying coffee in our lovely attached patio was a highlight of our stay. And the peaceful quiet of the starlit desert evenings is magic.

A beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners are very friendly! The room and bed are very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. We spent the morning watching beautiful birds. We really enjoyed our too short stay. Wish we had had more time. Hoping to be back soon!

This is the perfect place to relax, explore and connect with nature and your friends/family. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, beautiful grounds and trails, and unique town of Tubac within walking distance. Every room of Valle Verde Ranch has interesting artifacts and artwork. We will return again and again to experience this place. Highly recommend it!

This is a wonderful place for a vacation. We stayed 4 days in the main house. The property and accommodations were excellent. Everything was spotless clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, kitchen was very well stocked and well organized and the living areas both in and out were well furnished and comfortable. Built in the 1930's, the place exudes charm and history. While tucked away on 4+ acres, shopping and dining in Tubac are within walking distance. Being located just a short walk to the flowing Santa Cruz River allows for an abundance of flora and fauna. The Casita, a 1 bedroom with a full kitchen is also very nice as is the Quilt room, a studio with mini fridge and microwave. The nine of us that stayed there enjoyed every moment and we surely return.

My family enjoyed a stay at the Valle Verde Ranch for a week of relaxing, hiking, critter-watching, and enjoying the art & dining scene in Tubac. The rooms are clean, comfortable & spacious. A wonderful place just to relax or as the hub for more active adventures in the Tucson area. Thanks to Doug and Jane for their wonderful hospitality - we will return!

The Valle Verde Ranch was a great spot to soak up some warmth & sunshine before heading back home to Alaska for winter!
There were three different patios to enjoy the sun throughout the day, plus a pool to cool off. The “back four” was great for walks through the mesquite trees scoping out birds, & there was easy access to the Anza Trail for walking, running, & biking. Downtown Tubac is just a short walk from the Ranch & other trails in the area were a quick drive away.
Our room (Cabot) was large & comfortable, staying cool throughout the day & warm at night when the temps dropped. The kitchen had plenty of space to prep food & hang out while cooking. We also enjoyed the check-ins from the hosts, Doug & Jane, & appreciated quick history & birding lessons they gave us. All in all, it was a super relaxing & pleasant stay, & we’d recommend it to anyone looking to check out the area!
