I called Helen to ask for help planning a vacation for my girlfriend and myself. I told her up front that I'd never used a travel agent before, and she spent 15 minutes talking through what I was looking for before she told me she'd research options and get back to me the next day.

7 days later, I called to follow up. The next day, I received a very unprofessional email where she indicated she wouldn't be doing any research, and made it out like I was asking for something unreasonable. This was pretty frustrating, since I was just following her lead. I could have done some legwork myself or saved us both some time and backed out if she'd told me this earlier.

This left a very bitter taste in my mouth, and I would not have confidence planning vacations with Helen or trusting her to help deal with travel issues in a timely manner.
