This was an awesome tour, and a great way to see the entire city of Boston. It’s about two hours and around 10 miles of biking. Most of it is flat too, so if you’re concerned about difficulty, it’s not too bad. The guides were very knowledgeable, and made sure everyone stayed with the group and was able to cross safely.

Hired a bike here (using Go City card note that means you can only use between 10-5). Bikes were great we did 40k on them. Do the Charles River path it is amazing! Service was good and friendly (felt a little bit second class being a Go City card holder) but definitely the go to for bike hire (and tours) in Boston. Shop is in a great spot close to harbour bike path.

Fantastic tour guide from Len, I would highly recommend anyone visiting Boston! The weather was great which was a bonus for us. I felt a little nervous before, as the roads were busy but I felt relaxed and safe, I had an excellent time 😊 I would definitely do it again!

This is such a great way to experience different parts of the city! I did the Emerald Necklace tour with Greg. He gave us all kinds of cool info about the city as we rode. We mostly followed separate, multi-use bike paths, with the occasional turn into the street. It was about 14 miles and took us 3 hours to finish. I highly recommend this type of tour to any person who is thinking about doing it!

Costa and Charles were great guides. Mostly flat tour for easy pedaling. Saw a lot of the city with my boys and had a great time.

A wonderful tour and service that is a must for tourists! Austin ("rhymes with Boston") was fun, understanding, and informative. After the tour, he even gave restaurant recommendations. He learned the names of everyone on the tour and made it feel really personal. The other guides also seemed great, but I'm glad my group got Austin! The tour itself goes through lots of Boston neighborhoods, so you get to see a little bit of everything. Although I had already walked around Boston a lot before the bike tour, riding around on through the streets in the city gave a whole new perspective. For anyone looking for a quick, fun activity to see lots of Boston at once, this is a must!

We chose Urban AdvenTours for 2 of our 3 days in Boston - and we're so glad we did! We had such a great time on both the City View Tour and the Emerald Necklace Tour, and we'd highly recommend them. They were MUCH better than the Freedom Trail walking tour we did, both in scope, the level of interaction, how much we saw....I could go on and on. The price is more than fair for the time out on the bikes, and the expertise of the guides. We LOVED both of our tours - and doing the City View first, before the Emerald Necklace was just perfect. What an ideal way to explore Boston!

Our only caveat is the lack of calm, compassionate responses to people with problems - as you can see in the comments to those who didn't have perfect experiences below. We observed this a couple of times in the two days...it didn't cause a big problem, but we definitely noticed the lack of patience with the staff and customers. Replacing defensiveness with customers with listening empathetically seems like something that could be worked on - that would make this place a 5+ Star bike shop.

We did the City Views tour during a weekend visit. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend! There is really only one hill. The guide Ken did a great job of sharing historical info. NOTE - you *do** need to be comfortable riding on city streets in the midst of car and bus traffic. (and for a saturday morning - that was all fine)
