This is the WORST company to do business with. I just paid $1000 to change my name from "Chris" to "Christopher" because they didn't recognize it as the same name and refused to check me in to my flight.

I bought travel insurance, yet they claim insurance won't cover name change. Let me remind you, my name did not change.

So they made me rebook both tickets and I paid double the price. For nothing!

What a scam. Avoid this company at all costs. Honestly, I'd rather fly Spirit Airlines. At least you know what you are getting with them. United is just dressed up garbage.

I have never experienced a bag getting lost ever, until today with United. I normally only fly southwest and would recommend that airline every time. I’m currently at the counter trying to locate my bag, how could this happen? I have been flying for 17 years with other airlines and will absolutely never use this company again. On Christmas morning I arrived for my 1 PM return flight from Ontario International to Newark International, at 10 AM. Upon entering the airport, I learned that there were no United employees available to assist me with my checked bag. It wasn’t until almost 10:30 AM MST that I was able to receive support. I was informed that I would have to pay $100 due to my bad being overweight by 8 lbs.

As I prepared to board my flight, scheduled to arrive at 11:50 PM EST, I was informed that I must check my cary on bag due to the flight being full. I was assured that my cary on would arrive to my destination when I do.

It is currently 1:00 AM EST as I write this review, and our captain has informed the passengers that, although we have been waiting for on the ground for over an hour, we may not receive a gate for another 40 minutes. As I sit anxiously awaiting to disembark this plane, I decided to use the United app to track my cart on bag. Wouldn’t you know, my cary on bag is still in the Denver, CO airport. I wish I could say that I am shocked. I sincerely hope that this experience serves as a warning to any travelers on United airlines to think long and hard before flying with United.

Worst customer service ever! Literally not busy but the lady kept saying there were too many ppl in line to help us and answer our questions checking in, there was one person behind us and they already checked in. Rudest person ever, got nasty and kept raising her voice. I finally lost it and started raining mine back never ever had to do that before, I hope she gets reprimanded!
