I could not stay in my normal location in Rock Falls due to no availability. I didn’t realize Hilton had built this Tru until the receptionist at my normal hotel told me about it. I’m glad there is this option. It was great. The staff were helpful and the facilities were clean and up-to-date. This is a newer facility, and everything reflects that. Proximity to the locations I was working was still convenient. Overall a great experience that I will definitely use again.

I have stayed here 3 times, and stay has been excellent always. The rooms are very clean, hotel is maintained really well, every morning cleaning staff was taking care of lobby, elevators and other areas like it is their own hotel. floors, carpets were clean and smells fresh. General Manager met me at breakfast location all three times and he asked me about my stay and feedback which shows his care about guests and of course business. Omi is Smart, intelligent, knowledgeable and after meeting first time, he remembered my name - sharp memory. It seems he can talk to anybody on any topic. Or I can say he can identify the common interest. His staff is very friendly, energetic but professional and polite. whoever staff I met, every time they greeted me and asked if I need any help. Tru and Holiday Inn are only two best hotels around that area, and I have stayed in both. Tru is new and settling down but soon Tru Dixon will be on top especially because of remarkable customer service and cleanliness and this is what everybody wants.

I have been looking forward to staying here since they started building this place, as I frequent the area often. Bottom line up front - the same owners have the Quality Inn down the road, and I expect this hotel to follow in its unfortunate footsteps quickly.

For the price, it is not impressive. In true Tru fashion, it has the modern, sterile minimalist vibe, which I will take any day over dank, dark, and musty.

My first experience was to book with the Hilton app as I usually do. Picked my King bed - no problems. Later that afternoon, I went to check in through the app and get my virtual key card, and it errored out and informed me I had to go to the front desk. Not a big deal. Get there, and who I would assume to be one of the owners told me that the heat was broken in my room, so I was going to have to take a double queen - but don't worry, he won't charge me more! Well, that was so kind of him...

The checkout process took a little while, as I had to wait for the front desk person to come off their smoke break to get me my paper receipt before I could leave.

We stayed five nights in March of '25 in this brand new beautiful hotel visiting our relatives in Dixon, IL. It was very clean and fresh. The people went beyond expectations to make our stay as pleasant as possible, especially Brittany and manager Omkar. We look forward to returning again the next time we visit our family in Dixon.

Spent the weekend at this brand-new hotel and LOVED our experience! The entire hotel and room were extremely clean and comfortable, we experienced no issues during our stay. Staff was always friendly, and the manager made us feel very welcomed and always asked how our room was and if we were enjoying our stay. Would recommend this location to anyone traveling in the area!

Stayed on 3/10/25 for a business trip after it had been open for just three months. I chose it because it's new, because it's a Hilton property, and to try out the Tru brand. I loved it and will stay again. As all hotel chains do, Hilton has a range of brands and Tru is on the economical end, so things may look differently from their other hotels. Coffee and hot tea options are always available in the lobby, along with a microwave--these are not in the rooms. There is ice and a filtered water fountain between the lobby and elevators, and I love that. The room had everything I needed along with a very large bathroom. For the king room, two could fit comfortably, but could be snug for some folks. The window shade "locks in" to a groove at the bottom of the window, shutting out all light. Breakfast was basic but that's all that's needed. There are many place nearby to eat, along with Aldi across the street and Walmart just down the road. Service was friendly and professional. I spent a few hours in the spacious lobby working before checking out of my room, helping myself to the hot tea. In response to another review, I would have simply asked for more towels, removal of trash, etc. if needed; I'd never wait until 1am to wander the lobby asking for more TP. House cleaning is scheduled every other day but can certainly take place in between for specific needs. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here while on a business trip. It's a brand new hotel in the middle of dixon. The front desk employees were always great. The breakfast was just an average continental breakfast. But everything was fresh and clean.

A special shoutout to the General Manager, Omkar, for his outstanding hospitality. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a convenient place to stay while driving through West Illinois, this hotel is an excellent choice.
