This was our first trip to Anna Marie Island and we fell in love with Tradewinds Beach Resort. The staff were wonderful. We arrived a day earlier than we booked and we spent the first night in a beautiful bungalow and then moved into our beautiful booked bungalow the second night for 7 more days. Both were decorated so nice and both were super clean and fresh. The property is beautiful and steps across the street from their own private beach area. The pool area is gorgeous as well as the fishing pier. Tropical landscaping throughout the property is icing on the cake. We walked to Coquina Beach and Manatee Beach from where we stayed. The free trolley was a plus when wanting to ride to the other side of the island to explore and leaving our car at the resort. We can’t wait to return.

Had a wonderful time with my wife. This was our second visit to Anna Maria Island. We spent a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As usual we paid our our outstanding balance upon check-in. The day before we left I was told by the property manager that we were in fact paid in full. We checked out on a Saturday morning at 7:30 am. Upon arriving home I noticed our credit card was charged about $17 for a "room tax". When I called about it... Diane couldn't give me an explanation and said she'd email their corporate office who she said had issued the charge. She remarked it could possibly be a new Manatee County tax that went into effect in January. However the dollar of that tax didn't match what I was charged. I followed up a few days later with Diane...she said corporate didn't reply to her email. I told her I thought it was not right to make a charge to my credit card with out knowing what it's for. I asked for a credit. She said it was something she couldn't do. I told her it's not about the $17 .. it's about the principle of the matter.. giving no reasonable explanation of what the charge was for. Tradewinds should be honest and upfront with their pricing and fair with their billing. After all ..as a customer I can choose any number of resorts to stay at. Please, please,, please..will someone from Tradewinds Corporate get back with me?

Perfect little cottage resort in Bradenton Beach for a great vacation! The property is small but very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The beach is directly across the street and chairs, beach towels umbrellas are available. There is a pool bayside. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Be sure to try Smoqhouse right next store for excellent BBQ. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The place is great location. Just cross the street and you’re at the beach.
The room was very nice. Beds were comfortable.

Gave a 4 star because I found a but of mold in the bathroom. And pool was dirty. Lots of Hair and leaves.

Overall it’s a good price for what you get

We loved our short week on Anna Maria island in this cute little self-catering cottage on the Tradewinds resort.||The resort is small with 20 or so small cottages each of which has access to the on-site pool and fishing dock.||Our cottage was immaculately clean, and the property had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of storage. ||The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, and there was an additional outdoor grill as well.||While there is a pool on-site, we spent our day on the beautiful beach just a short walk, whereby you can use the resort's free sunbeds. Each property comes equipped with a beach umbrella as well||In terms of location, the property and resort was ideally situated for all the island has to offer. The nearest supermarket was only a 5 minutes drive, and there was a stop for the free island trolley to take you up to the north of the island just outside the resort itself. It is also only a 15 minute walk down to Bridge Street where there is a clutch of restaurants and bars||Overall, would 100% recommend this property and would gladly book again|

Needs a deep cleaning! I paid $330 a night and the place is very dirty. The manager sent out house keeping who cleaned the base boards about as far as she could from the door. Water pressure is awful You can barely wash your hands. The pool is unkept. TV barely works. This is not my first stay here.. and I am very sad how things are kept up around here from my first stay!

Nice place but all inclusive is not actually all inclusive. You would think spending $5,000 for a week of stay would at least give you free breakfast. Only giving 2 stars because everyone was nice.

Absolutely loved our little cottage! We were able to check in early, everything was clean, and the front desk was very accommodating. Just be aware that the bathroom access is through the bedroom (in case there are more than two people staying in the room).
The beach access is very close. And there is also a pool. I liked that they had a parking lot and you didn't have to park right on the main road. I noticed several places had parking on the main road which is very busy.
