Tonto Natural Bridge State Park - Pine, Arizona

This is a beautiful area, the pictures really don’t do it justice. We went late August and the weather was perfect and the water flowing. The water temperature was very cool. There were people swimming and jumping in the water and people climbing through the cave. Our daughter loves playing with rocks and dropping them in the water so she was totally in her element at the creek. The hike down is short and relatively easy, but can be slippery. The way up was more tiring but there are shady spots to stop and catch your breath. Water was essential. The rest of the park has large grassy areas and a good number of picnic tables in the shade. I saw people of all abilities enjoying different areas of the park. There is a viewing area where you can see down to the creek and cave without hiking down. Overall, just a gorgeous area and a really nice experience in the middle of our mini road trip. $7 per adult, $4 per child above age 7.

Nice place to get some scenic views without too hard of a hike. Each trail is about .25 Miles, my 5 year old daughter was able to make it under the bridge with no difficulties. Keep your eye out for a grate on the ground in between scenic points 3 and 4; it goes all the way down to the bottom.

Great hiking areas with a map provided at the gate. Parking was adequate and easy to navigate. Under the bridge is nice and cool ranging from 70-80 degrees. Great way to escape the heat! The river water is nice and very fresh. Nice way to cool off. Heads up you can't get in the water under the natural bridge only in the river outside of it.

The only way I can describe this place is magical. The setting under the bridge is unlike any other setting I’ve ever been too. There’s beautiful pools of water you can dip your feet in and rain falling from the top( which feels great after a hike down in the summertime ). The grounds are kept very nice, you can tell the employees really care about the place. We also saw a lot of wildlife, lots of lizards, birds, and squirrels. We even got a glimpse of a deer. Best place in Arizona. I recommend calling before you go and asking if all the trails are open, sometimes they close some of the trails due to flooding and you can’t go under the bridge. But I will say, even being in front of the bridge is awe inspiring. 10/10 worth the trip.

Short hike but we spent a few hours just looking at the geology, the flora and the fauna.
Even though there's not a lot of walking I can see how it could be challenging if you are not in shape or used to climbing over rocks, some of the footing can be deceivingly slippery.
The park grounds were very well maintained. Clean restrooms. Lots of picnic areas. Super nice helpful friendly rangers. I'd like to go back again in the fall, winter and spring.

Gorgeous. Quick easy-ish trip.

Less than 2hrs from Queen Creek. 30 min hike to observation deck with ramps and stairs. If Feeling adventurous... Follow the arrows through the tunnel up to the other side. Allow another hour or so for that trek but very fun. I was able to do it with my 4yrold. Used the arrows like treasure markers. He Guided us through the jungle.

The most breathtaking experience I’ve seen, the cave was absolutely stunning and the way the water rained down was just jaw dropping. The waterfall was beautiful and the water was so clear and cold. We saw some super cool wildlife up close and it was breathtaking. The experience was unlike any other and i recommend all go on the adventure !

A must see. Well worth the price.

The hike down and up is not that bad. Young kids to old ladies were doing it.

People were wearing all kinds of footwear from flip flops to hiking shoes.

The rock are slippery in the cave but use your hangs to navigate instead of your feet.

Better idea would be to bring water shoes next time.

There are lots of people around you and a ranger looking out for accidents.

The hike up has plenty of resting spots to take a breather.

Gift shop accepts credo cards and the guard shack is cash only. If paying by card pull into the right parking lot and pay inside.

Toilets were clean.

Park entrance closes at 4pm.

Tons of parking and picnic tables.

Kid friendly.

ADA spots available.

No dogs allowed.
