This is a very interesting and educational boat ride. It's a food opportunity to see water birds that you wouldn't ordinarily see. You will learn about the history of the various islands in the Cedar Key area. It was a very pleasant experience and I would do it again.

Great time! The tour was great, informative, and an awesome way to spent the day. The captain made a point to swing back around to an area where she had spotted dolphin so we could watch them playing. Well worth the money

Another excellent trip with Tidewater Tours. This year we experienced the sunset cruise which was brilliantly narrated by Captain Phil and First Mate Misty. My daughter (9) absolutely loved it and Misty and Phil were knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We’ll be back again next year.

Phil is very concerned for all of his guest’s comfort, we were impressed greatly. Loved the history aspect and seeing the other keys.

We really enjoyed our sunset cruise on tidewater tours. Our captain and guide were very attentive and nice. You can bring your own drinks on the cruise. We learned a lot about the Cedar Key islands and the sunset was spectacular.

Oct 25 - took the Coastal Tour with Captain Phil. We benefited from great weather and got a great history lesson about the area while we enjoyed the beautiful keys. Phil pointed out many of the birds and we were able to lure several dolphins to jump and play in our wake. Thank Phil! Highly recommend it.

Captain Doug and his first mate Misty were fabulous tour guides and especially knowledgeable about the keys. They’re mindful of the surrounding habitats taking care not to disturb the natural environment. They were interactive with the passengers and it showed they love what they do. They actually allowed us to bring our sea faring K9 on the tour with us, Dallas enjoyed it as much as we did! Would recommend Tidewater tours for the top of your must do list in Cedar Key. We should probably mention that the rates were reasonable and worth every penny. —Kimber and Steve
