In a small quaint town, no pool but a nice little pond. Roads were not too horrible, normal campground dirt roads. Bathrooms clean and well stocked. Laundry Machine was down for 2 days, but received quick prompt attention and got it fixed. Close to Salem and Boston if you want more to do. Normal canprground appearance- some trailers were very nice, others a little bit older, but nothing horrible. Weekend trailer rides pulled by a tractor. Nice play ground. Was a fantastic stay!

I’ll start off by saying that the staff here is very friendly and helpful. That’s not the problem with this campground. This place is very run down. There are a lot of full-timers here and not much pride of ownership. Campsites are cramped and not well maintained. We did have full hookups, but very expensive at nearly $70/night for a 30ft back in site that was very uneven, and trashy. ||This was our very first experience with Thousand Trails. Unfortunately, we probably won't ever stay at another.

The only good thing about this place was the staff was very nice, other than that it stinks. Most of the sites are seasonal campers and residential trailer homes. Many yards cluttered with junk. The sites in the D section are extremely close together. We were in L which is up a narrow dirt road. There are NO ammenities. No pool or hot tub, don't know where these photos are from. Mini golf was pitiful, falling apart. Don't believe the management photos, they are 10 years oid. and nothing looks that good. Only stopped here to break up our drive. Can't understand people actually wanting to spend time here. Would not recommend to anyone.

Small and intimate campground. Staff was AMAZING! Accommodating our needs for a one night stay and we did not have to unhook. Tight spots but a good place to stay over.||Pond view Adirondacks were a great place to watch the sunset.||Thanks!||Why does have to be 200 characters? This is silly.

The things I liked. The staff is friendly and they are always visible on their carts. I noticed that at the last Thousand trails campground that I stayed at. It gives a sense of security and the impression that they care. It’s also in a peaceful area. I do believe this place could be great with a little updating and rule enforcement. The pond was cool.

What I didn’t like is. The sites are very small and the campers are on top of each other. My site wasn’t bad but everyone else in my area had no room on their sides. I positioned my camper so when my slide was out it would be about a foot from the line. The campers on my side put their camper in the middle and had no room for the picnic table. The picnic table was right on the line so my slide out was almost even with their picnic table. If I had to check my utility area I had to go around their picnic table on their side. Because of this I probably wouldn’t go back. I have to drive too far and I would be afraid that once there I wouldn’t fit. I know campgrounds need to be profitable just like any other business and that is why the sites are small, so they can fit more in. I am part of the thousands trails membership. I wouldn’t have a problem paying twice the monthly fee for larger site and better kept grounds.

Another thing that I didn’t like was many of the seasonal are old and have a lot of junk stored on their lots. It just gives a bad impression of the campground. One of these sites is a water front site and from what I can tell belongs to an employee or at least his family. Put aside the condition and junk on the site, but they have a very aggressive dog. The dog maybe harmless but they leave it tied out side and when anyone with a dog walks by it is barking and trying to get loose. It’s at the end of its lead and knocking things over trying to get at whoever is walking by. My first night there I walked by with my dogs and I could hear him barking and banging off the walls trying to get out. The owners have put a bunch of containers and tarps around the bottom of their camper as skirting and I am sure part of this is to block the sight of the dog. Yesterday a woman was a few sites down and was yelling to the dog to stop and shut up. I have to say it’s not a safe or comfortable feeling walking by their site. I’m a dog lover and I don’t blame the dog. The owners shouldn’t leave him tied out all day and probably shouldn’t keep him there. I would be completely shocked if this is the first time there has been a complaint. Maybe the complaints are staying at the campground and since I believe this dog and camper belong to an employee or his family that it isn’t getting to corporate. I hate leaving bad reviews. I usually just wouldn’t leave one, But as I said I think this could be a great camp ground and that dog is going to be a liability.

We’ve stayed in about 50 thousand trails and this one is not great. Very unorganized, laundry is broken no pool, Which we did know before we came on the pool . This is more of an annual site for people than a campground. Very surprised when I looked online and saw the daily price for the campground definitely not worth the money. As for people with thousand trails membership so many other nice campgrounds out there this one just falls short. Wish we would’ve had a better idea of how it is before we came

Nice, welcoming staff. My first impression when driving to my spot was that it looked dated with older trailers and cabins. I was in D section which spots are VERY close. If the guy behind me had a rear window, we would have seen directly into our rigs. Friendly campers. LOTS of kids. I had the pleasure of listening to little ones run back and forth throughout the day. Laundry machines were out of service and no wifi reception. They have a lake but the water seemed brackish. Campers do not abide by the 5mph speed limit. Not all sites are full hookup but they have a honeywagon that comes around Monday and Thursday. It was just okay.

Great family rustic style campground. Staff was helpful, friendly and greeted us with a folder with information and led to us our rv site which was a full hook up site. Vibrant family atmosphere with people having camping fun. For those who complain, not sure if they thought they were checking into the Ritz Carlton, it’s a campground and a great laid back style campground with a lake, activities scheduled and the rest is on you (how fun are you making your experience) Clean bathrooms /showers. Laundry not working but again camping.
