My sister had been at Tremont for a couple of years with Alzheimer’s, recently passing away. The staff was incredibly caring to my sister. She loved the staff and they loved her! My heart was filled knowing when I couldn’t be there she was in good hands . I want to say that the aid Jocelyn was so loving and attentive to my sister, she is a very special person.

I'm really not a person, that likes to complain.
CNA's are supposed to be, calling the healthcare proxy. Not asking the patient, if they want to go too the hospital? Obviously the patient is going to say no..
You can't go out, an entrance at Tremont nursing & rehab. after 4 PM cause, the alarm will go off. So you have to go out the front, not good lighting, walk down the sidewalk and when you don't have good balance it's bad.
I apologized to Amanda the nurse on the night shift, that works on the A side & B wing. She also said she was sorry, we've smoothed things out. Other nurse's & CNA's are also wonderful workers to.
P.T is great! I like how they really push the patient's!

REVIEW

The last time I saw my mother she was inpatient at another facility. I recently found out that she left that facility and moved to The Tremont in Wareham. Today I got the chance to visit with her for the first time in a while. The woman at the front desk was very nice and showed me where to go. Being a former CNA in my past working in nursing homes and at hospitals in my early 20’s I can honestly say that this nursing home passed my inspection. For an older nursing home it seems to be clean and maintain. My mother’s room was clean and her bed was nicely made. She was in her wheelchair and in the day room all dressed and clean. She was happy and surprised to see me. The other patients in the day room looked clean and well cared for. My mother introduced me to some of her fellow friends that she’s made since she’s been there and they seemed happy and in good spirits. The staff is friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful visit with my mother. I want to thank all the staff at The Tremont Nursing Home in Wareham, MA for taking care of my mother in her fragile state.

May my God YHWH and my Messiah Yahshua bless all of you for the care you give to all your patients.

My aunt is a patient with dementia. The Team at Tremont could not be better, from the cleanliness of the facility, my aunt's outstanding appearance, and the direct communication of any issues. The Team there are a caring group of people. We feel safe for my aunt Flo, she is getting the best care around, by an outstanding Team of people. Recently we added her to the Hospice Team, we get 3 or 4 direct communications per week, the Hospice Team is really caring, they have been also setting up and conducting face time with my mom, relaying each visit with a call as well with Flo's updates. It's never easy to place a loved one in a long term care facility, but I have to say we were very lucky to have found Tremont. Thank to all the folks at Tremont, you are truly above the rest. With al the Covid issues over the past year, they have had some cases there, they reach out personally and call to give updates about Flo and the facility. We could not ask for more.

First and foremost this place gave there all for my Mother and I truly believe it’s a partnership between the families and the facility. My Mother was a resident from 2/23/22 to 6/28/22 and she never received anything but great care. Donna the activity personnel in the day room, was so kind with my Mom always including her even though she was non-verbal. Linda from the kitchen, a truly caring person, India who is from the A-wing always sitting in and checking on my Mom. Pat, Kelly, Beth, Bree each and everyone one of them was so patient and kind, showed a genuine interest towards my Mother. The tall African American nurse, I can’t pin point her name went above and beyond to have my Mom placed in a private room so our family could come and go as we please. I as her health care proxy was never left in the dark about her, her current state, her meds, and anything going forward. My Mom was always clean, washed, smelled great and was always in great spirits. I as well as my Dad and my Aunt was very present in her care, her well-being in-person and via telephone. She spent her final week of life calm and comfortable that was diligently provided by her hospice nurse, Trudy, her facility nurses, and her most favorite CNA Joslyn. I appreciate them all and thank them kindly for all their help as their profession is not easy on the eyes nor the heart.

This place handled the COVID pandemic completely inappropriately and didn't even take basic precautions. We requested that our loved one's curtain be drawn between her and her roommate who had COVID and they refused to do this. We asked 13 days before Christmas if we could do a Zoom meeting with our loved one on/ around Christmas and they never even responded and then after-the-fact said they couldn't. There are so many horrible and very sad incidents. The bottom line is they truly do not care about the residents or about professionalism. Note that many of the people posting 5 star reviews are administration/ employees as the facility trying to get its rating up. Families are made to feel like we are a bother when we express very legitimate concerns or want to get answers. We never get our very basic questions answered and everyone is rude and disrespectful. The facility is dirty and it smells. I have worked at many nursing homes in my professional role and this one is horrible. Please note that their standard response is to call or email but when we do that, we get no response.

My Father died of sepsis from multiple bedsores while there. His physical therapy never happened. They had him heavily dosed on Haldol which seems to be commonplace to just sedate residents to keep them quiet. Sad that this is happening to our older generations. They were lucky they could use "Covid quarantines" as a way to keep families constantly away from their facility and the room phones barely ever were answered (probably because of all the sedatives they used) The main desk screens their calls and eventually won't even answer. Basically the place bleeds your insurance dry and you're disposed of. Wouldn't place my worst enemy's parent there...
