Nice place, very easy to get around to local grocery store, fishing docks and pool. They have a nice restaurant, decently priced and friendly service. The hotel water was second to none, cleanest tap water I’ve tasted in a long while. Overall experience was great!

Central location on the harbour with a fine view of the marine wildlife (sea otters etc). we stayed three nights exploring the town and its energy generation system (hydropower plants). Rooms are spacious, clean and the location quiet with helpful service. Breakfast is better at the local taco stand.

Delicious food with an incredible view. Everyone is so kind and working very hard to take care of more tables than they should have to. Suggestion to owners to hire a couple more waiters. Thank you for a great dinner!

What a fun find. Awesome views of the boat harbor with excellent food. Many choices including fresh fish and sushi! I had the local Simpson bay oysters grilled which were crave worthy. My husband had the halibut sandwich which was very fresh and delicious. Drink options abounded. The service was attentive and quick. Check this out. Really good food.

We went to the restaurant, they ended charging me almost $70 for drinks that weren't supposed to be on my bill then they charged me twice for my food. The service was just horrible. Expensive and very overrated, disgusting.

I stayed here for a night this week.|The RF is located in the centre of Cordova, close to the harbour, shops and restaurants.|An airport shuttle is provided by Chinook Auto Rentals for $15 each way (you don't need to book in advance of your arrival). |On arrival I was able to check in early and the receptionist was lovely (girl from Chicgao, sorry can't remember her name!). |My room was spotlessly clean, with decent storage space and plenty of tea and coffee. |It was a little small but was more than adequate for one night.|The bed was very comfortable. After a wander around Cordova I laid down for a couple of minutes and woke up 4 hours later!|Their restaurant is good and the bar is nice- sit outside and enjoy a drink over sunset if you can! |There's a free breakfast which is pretty basic but tasty- cereals and lots of sweet options.|Price wise, for Alaska in summer it was very reasonable.|If you're going to Cordova, the Reluctant Fisherman is the place to stay.

Great service, traveled with a large group and was very accommodating to our needs. Opened up just for us for breakfast and lunch on no notice so we could feed 30+ people.
Can’t speak highly enough.
