The space was perfect for my daughter’s baby shower! Very elegant and beautiful. Nikki and Nikki were amazing to work with! Their menu was amazing and better than catering prices. I would highly recommend the Purple Iris for all of your venue needs!

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at The Purple Iris! From start to finish, Destiny, Nikki, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. They were so helpful and accommodating, especially since we were planning in record time. Every detail was taken care of, and I truly felt like I could trust them with every aspect of the event. The venue itself was stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious—our guests couldn't stop raving about it! I can't thank them enough for making our day so memorable. A heartfelt thank you to this team for helping our family members have Easter with providing to go meals for purchase. We are most grateful.
Food was excellent and plentiful. They loved the ham and pasta salad especially. The inside was just beautiful as I was waiting and was like stepping into a southern mansion.
The team was pleasant, kind and accommodating not just to me but to others while waiting in the eating room.

Back entrance is best for walkers and anyone with mobility difficulties as it is flat with one step into the building.
Thank you for your kindness and wonderful food. We hope to be back soon.

I simply cannot recommend The Purple Iris enough! The highlight of my experience hosting an event here could’ve been the beautiful historic venue, or the elegantly curated catering and bar options, but what truly sets The Purple Iris apart is their dedicated staff.
I primarily worked with Nikki on the event coordination, and not only was she accommodating to my admittedly lengthy list of requests, she made it a priority to embrace my vision and to do whatever it took to bring that vision to fruition. She made herself available to me and answered all of my questions promptly, ensuring early on that we had an open channel of communication. She really made me feel like I could trust her to help make our event a huge success.
Another member of the staff, also named Nikki, was a fan favorite as our mixologist for the evening. I wanted to have a featured cocktail and she took that idea and ran with it! She made sure the drinks were flowing and that everyone could enjoy themselves while also consuming responsibly.
Lastly, the venue owner Destiny. What I loved about Destiny was that while she is the leader of her staff, she was working alongside of them the whole night ensuring that they were supported and that our event could flow seamlessly. It is clear that she respects her staff as much as they respect her, and it reflects in the quality of their service and work product. It felt like no matter how grand of a request I thought I was asking, these ladies took it in stride and made it seem effortless. It truly felt like I walked away from that experience of hosting an event with The Purple Iris having made three new friends.
In all, The Purple Iris makes hosting your event feel easy. They are prompt, responsive, organized, and they completely exceeded my expectations in every way. Thank you all!

We had such a wonderful time at my niece's wedding this past weekend at the Purple Iris! The food was delicious, the staff was super accommodating and sweet. The mansion is gorgeous and so wonderful to walk around and feel transported to the gilded age of antebellum romance. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. The wedding was outstanding, and coming from Spain, my husband and I were extremely happy to have been part of such a truly magical wedding reception! This venue is magic! 😘

Nikki and Nikki at The Purple Iris were amazing! The venue is beautiful and food delicious. But these two made the experience from inquiry to cleanup a pleasure.
