This place can definitely use some TLC. My stay wasn’t horrible. The room wasn’t very clean. There was stuff on the bathroom floor that I didn’t care to find out but definitely appeared to not have been mopped in a while. They tried to make the hand soap and shower gel stretch so you can tell they added water to it because it was literally just diluted soapy water being dispensed. There was a gap under the door and a lot of large ants from outside that kept making their way into the room. The room smelled stuffy and slightly moldy. The only thing that I liked was the manager was very nice and personable. Surrounding area gives me horror film vibes but turned out everyone that lives/work in the area were all very nice. If you’re in a pinch, this room gets the job done but don’t have high expectations.

I stayed here on my way to Fortuna, CA. I never felt unsafe. Room was clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze even though I showed up super late. There's a bar next door and a little table to eat at the entrance of the property. All in all I was very happy.

Arrived late and we were accommodated quickly and politely. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable.

Traveling through the area with my wife and kids and had booked a room here before hand knowing we would need a place to stay overnight. We arrived around 2pm and we were told the room wasn’t ready for us yet so we went down the road to grab pizza at the Lost Frenchman (DELICIOUS FOOD and very friendly staff). We went back to the motel and the parking lot was full of work vehicles and people unloading their work trucks. Made me nervous that this was going to be a loud rowdy night, but I was completely wrong. We went into the room, Room 101, and we were shocked at how spacious the room was! It was cleaned very well and we knew we were going to rest easy after a full day of driving. We heard no one the entire night. We did need to ask for extra towels at there were only 2 in the room, but 4 of us. One towel already in the room was stained so we asked for a new one as well. Staff was nice. We would recommend!

the best you can ask for at a low rate. they do not have complimentary breakfast so there is no reason to jack up the prices. the rooms are clean and the staff is so kind and helpful. There dogs make sure to say hello to you. but not to fear there like teddy bears. i couldn't have asked for a better place. not a corporate place. just a real place.

I don't know where to start with this one. The guy running it is extremely nice. I mean very nice. He is the only reason I am giving this 3 instead of 1 star. The place needs a facelift for sure. The rooms are way dated. There were a lot of unknown substances in the rooms I don't really care to identify. I can't say there was anything absolutely Terrible about the place? We normally stay in hotels and this trip because we were following the 101 highway up the entire coast was very hard to find hotels within the stops and drive time. So to say it was an experience would be an understatement. Motels are definitely not our cup of tea. This one is included in this.

I had a fantastic night stay here. The rooms are very nicely decorated and they have thought about some things that other hotels overlook, such as ‘pull’ sign above the shower tap (it might seem simple, but our showers turn on differently overseas) and having the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on the wall (less wasteful and nicer products than the bar-kind).

The room was very clean and comfortable and the wifi worked great. I had the best sleep there - just what I needed on my road trip.

Spent 3 nights here at the end of February, really happy with the stay. Rooms were clean, smelled good, and the gentleman who checked me in seems like a good dude. There’s a gas station and 3 restaurants easily within walking distance. Fairly close to some good trails in the Humboldt Park, too. Overall really happy with the value.
