Great location, great service, clean rooms, some outdated items (carpet/flooring, stairs were too narrow for my big feet) but for the affordable cost, just call it cozy! I loved the bath tub, took me first bath in over 20 years! I was sick most of the weekend from a chronic illness flare up, unfortunately, but this was a great home away from home to rest, and close enough for my partner to still go out and about and salvage some of the trip. We normally stay at a different place in town, but for the price/our budget, we decided to give it a go. It'll be tough to choose next time. These home has all the amenities you need, and a few you didn't even realize you needed. Check out the view from our private deck! Thanks for your awesome mission of getting all us working poor an affordable stay-away, too! 😉

Ours was a last minute booking on our road trip from RMNP to Utah.
The room was clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was large (wife especially loved the floor to ceiling mirror). Owners were super friendly and welcoming.
We only stayed for a night hence didn’t get a chance to try all the amenities but this place also had a heated pool, game room and a library of VHS tapes for anyone looking for vintage collections.
Nothing beats homemade breakfast in the morning with beautiful views of fall colors.

We stayed in the Rocky Mountain Room, and it was awesome! Location is perfect with easy parking, and the room itself was really nice. The sauna and hot tub are really nice amenities too. I thought it might be weird sharing a house with other people, but it really wasn't at all. Plus the older historical feel of the house itself is so unique and charming. We'll definitely stay here again, thanks for a great experience!

Cute place to stay with a hot tub and sauna. I was really looking forward to the hot tub after a long day of snowboarding, but it was kind of lack luster. The tub smelled of mildew and the jets didn't work that well. I was also excited that we had a fireplace in our room, turned out it didn't work I sent a message to the message service to ask how to turn it on, they replied, but basically said it's an electric fireplace and there are no specific instructions. ? I also did not think the high price was worth what we paid...

The stay was in the perfect location the only negative was the heat even with snow still on the ground it was hard to keep the room under 70 degrees but would highly recommend and would definitely stay again

The Mountain Hideaway was perfect for a little weekend getaway! The house itself and the rooms are beautiful, clean and in an amazing historic home. There is a huge kitchen, porches, sauna and hot tub which were all very nice and clean, and the house is a 2 minute walk to Main Street in Leadville. The hosts were extremely communicative, and the check in/out process was seamless. We will definitely be coming back this summer!!

There are around 7-8 rooms in the house with different national park names and photos. We booked Yosemite room through Airbnb. This room had balcony with nice mountain view. Overall it was very nice with just one problem. Temperature control never worked. It was 75-80 whole night. We tried to set to 65 on thermostat, but not working. Luckily there was a fan in the room. I slept with fan right next to my bed. But overall nice amenities. Kitchen has couple of fridges. TT table, big hall, hot tub outside. Place is close to lot of restaurants and convenience stores.
