We have rented out the Lotus room for our daughters birthday, twice now! Excellent Service, Great Facilities and Good Communication from the Owner! I highly recommend TLR for your future events … and a bounce house was made available for us !

It was my first time visiting this venue. It was spacious. There was plenty of free parking. The venue was set up for a wedding reception. My friend hosted her son's reception and catered the food herself, therefore, I can't comment on that service provided by the venue. The kitchen was small, so I'm not certain about the functionality of that for catering large events. The place was decorated beautifully. I am not certain what was provided by The Lotus Room. If they provided the backdrop, the table settings, the head table, the King & Queen table, and chairs, then they were beautifully done. The bride and groom were ecstatic, that's all that matters!

The Lotus Room was awesome!!! The space is amazing! I was able to execute my vision without everything being cluttered! The staff, although they are young adults was very attentive, and professional! The owner Erica and her team are awesome!!! I will definitely be using this venue for future events!!! I will also be recommending it to my friends and family!!!

These people are money hungry and rude to involved in other planners set up.
I was paid to an event here yesterday. When Me and my staff arrived to the venue we were told we could not enter the building until 1pm. Not even place the equipment in the hallway nothing When my client specifically stated she paid them for an extra hr,but that they claim they didn’t receive it. As we enter the room thier in house decorator had already set up the backdrop numbers with the lights and stated said she got paid. Come to find out thier was an error or she thought the young lady was gonna bend and pay her 1000. After she declined her services at the initial meeting.
But thier decorated agreed to let the 30ft backdrop stay up. (Thanks)
I was paid to do a set up for 50 people which we did tables chairs swept table & custom backdrop that is on the photos.
Then they want to argue with me about how many people I’m suppose to seat and what kind of tables the client requested. They should have had thier floor plan together as a venue owner. Which it was 6 round tables & 2 rectangular tables she added at the last minute. But instead they still had to remove extra tables and chairs taking up my tim. that alone with thier attitudes was very unprofessional, I knew exactly what’s on my invoice and what was In my contract agreement. Then the Client receives a call stating they putting on chair covers wrong. First of all it was her sister who was not experienced helping out. My staff knew exactly what to do. I am a certified event planner who own my own company & frequently does parties an weddings. We are well equipped
& we provide Top knotch service to all of clients. Including this young lady who rented the venue we decorated her wedding and several other events she has had. To top it off Then the want rush them out the room exactly at 6pm not even giving them a clean up window of 30-1hr after thier 4hour rental.
You all had one job that was to provide the hall with the correct floor plan and number of chairs that was all.

We celebrated my fathers life with a luncheon at The Lotus Room. Erica was informative, responded quickly, and helpful. The room was clean, nicely decorated, tables with linen and additional tables setup for memorial display, on time and beautiful arranged. I will definitely use this even center again in the future for any occasion. Thank you Erica for all of your help and ease of rental process during such a difficult time in our lives.

The space was really nice!! The decorations were nice. The only downside was no stove to warm food but understandable. There was plenty of parking, and the restrooms were kept clean.

Part 2...The owner, Erica Pennington, is unprofessional and does not know how to talk to people. Her customer service is horrible. She snaps at people, and was short with everyone.

The Photographer: The photographer arrived at 2:45PM to set up and she had a problem with him arriving 15 minutes before 3PM and said some smart words to him too. He came to me and asked what her problem was. I didn't know she had said anything to him.

Rehearsal: The Lotus Room only offers two hours on a Thursday for the rehearsal. I literally had to negotiate a Friday because 80% of the wedding party was coming from different states and would not arrive until Friday morning or afternoon and they had already booked flights. Per Erica, we had two hours and had to be out of the building by 5PM.

Cleaning: Cleaning the space is expected at most events, but the Lotus Room has unrealistic expectations. There were no towels or cleaning products available and no extra garbage bags for trash. There was no one there to mop/sweep clean spills. I had to search the facility to find a mop. They also expect someone to clean THE PARKING LOT after the event!!!!

I don't know if Erica has ever had a wedding, but she definitely does not care about the Bride's experience. The whole experience with Erica was horrible. I would not recommend using any of her facilities because of her attitude and unprofessionalism.
