We held my daughter’s wedding at this venue and it was a great choice! Sally, the owner, is more than spectacular. She is sweet, friendly, and so willingly helpful. You can tell that she truly loves hosting weddings and making sure that her guests have what they need to make the day special. The venue was clean, well kept, and beautiful scenery outside. I highly recommend this place for any special event.

The venue was beautiful! Sally was very helpful and accommodating, and even had the venue create a wooden cross for us to use as our archway. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of three reasons. The first one is the most important and the others are just minor details.

1. It is hard to communicate with anyone working at the venue. They often don't answer the phone and you can only expect a response if you send an email. My wedding coordinator never was able to get in touch and my mom would sometimes send multiple messages before getting any type of response. While it is understandable that they are busy and there are other weddings also happening, this is a lot of money to spend to not be getting responses within a week's time or less - especially when you've already signed the contract.
2. When we toured the venue we were told there would be hooks to hang the dresses installed into the bridal quarters because there were not any already there. On the wedding day there were no hooks and we had to stand on a stool to hook my dress to a little knob on the ceiling.
3. When we arrived on the wedding day, the makeup counter was dirty and covered in powders and other makeup. The hairdresser we brought cleaned it off before she started on our hair and even commented on it.

Overall, none of these things made our day go horribly wrong. Everyone we met at the venue was kind and helpful. The backdrops, buildings, and the grounds are beautiful and make for great pictures!

I have done many events here as a bartender and they are always amazing. Sally and her family are so sweet and caring, they ensure your wedding day goes smoothly and the grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Id highly recommended them for both ceremonies and reception site.

The Homestead is a beautiful venue. The event staff works very hard to ensure that every bride's dream wedding comes true. Pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this place truly is. If you're contemplating where to book your wedding or next large event I would definitely give them a call and schedule a tour!

This place is gorgeous. The groom and bride have there own pre-wedding condo where they can hang out and get ready. The staff made everything go so smoothly. My friends wedding was beautiful. Kinda far out there tho.. but that's to be expected for somewhere nice.

I was very satisfied with everything the girls Sallie and Amber did to make our wedding beautiful. They went way beyond my expectations. My granddaughters wedding.It was a beautiful venue,and well organized.It was perfect!
