My husband and I stayed at the Guest House at Field Farm in-between the holidays. We were welcomed like family and had an amazing experience. The other guests were a pleasure to get to know. Breakfast was amazing. The hiking, history, art museums and local farms were fun to explore. We will definitely be back.

Staying at Field Farm is like staying at a nature sanctuary, a midcentury modern art museum, and a cozy bed and breakfast. The rooms and miles of trails have stunning views of Mt. Greylock. We visited in the winter, and got to borrow the Inn's snowshoes and enjoy a warm fire in the comfortable living room. The staff are incredibly welcoming and provided delicious breakfasts. Can't wait to visit again.

I arrived home just a few hours ago after spending three nights at The Guest House at Field Farm. It was my first time visiting, and definitely will not be my last. ||I stumbled across this B&B while reviewing thetrustees.org web site as I was renewing my membership. I’ve been a member for four years and have been to many of the Trustees locations. However, I wasn’t aware of their B&B offerings.||I had a stressful week at work, and spontaneously decided I needed to take a few days off to ‘unplug’. After reading the Field Farm reviews, I booked the East Room for three nights, Sun - Wed. The online reservation process was very easy. ||The drive there was lovely; meandering along Rt2 among trees and streams. The turn onto the country road to the Field Farm location greeted me with hay fields/farms on either side. This was just the stress release I needed. ||The little white gravel road leading to the Guest House was bordered with flowers and tall grasses, offering an introductory view of a well-tended lawn with chairs waiting under lovely trees and several very unique sculptures.||I was greeted by Tayla, who was charming, efficient, and personable. She led me to the room, commenting that it was her favorite. After our brief exchange, she left me to myself, which was perfect and insightful.||My first impression was that the view was breathtaking. I immediately went to the deck to just sit and take it all in. Equal to the view were the sounds - certainly not noise - but birds calling and the low-throated frogs answering. It was perfection.||The second observation was that the room was spartan and absolutely, spotlessly clean. I mean everything was immaculate. No TV/screens, which I appreciated. I was here to unplug. (Admittedly, there is Wi-fi, which I used to seek out dining options.) ||I eventually met Julianna - who is an amazing innkeeper and person. I can’t say enough about how personable she is; I felt welcomed and connected. We discussed books and briefly about our shared experiences. She offered recommendations for dinner at Mezze - which was amazing! ||I also had the pleasure to meet Julia, who also recommended places to dine - and more importantly - where not to go! She is an absolute delight. An additional shout-out to Casey, the groundskeeper and server-trainee. He did an excellent job!||I hope to see the entire crew in September!

the Guest House at Field Farm is an extraordinary place to stay and experience. from the mid-century design of the guest house, to the 300+ acres of woodland and marsh surrounding it, the property is absolutely stunning. the East Room, in which we stayed, offered very comfortable amenities, amazing views of Mt. Greylock and the Berkshires, along with fabulous stargazing from our private deck. and our host/caretaker, Julianna, and her assistant, Robin, were very knowledgeable about not only the property and its history, but also about the local area. Julianna is a very fine cook, and our breakfasts were more delicious than we could have hoped for. the Guest House is a must for anyone into birds, peaceful walks/hikes, and supporting local food production and security.

We had the honour and pleasure to stay with our sons three nights at The Guest House at Field Farm. It took me a while to write this review : how to express my deep respect for this place and the satisfaction of our stay ? Out of 73 reviews 66 people give it the “excellent” rating, 6 “very good”, one “average”, nothing less. The House and The Folly perfectly kept in their original ways, the furnishings, the art, the delightful manners off the caretakers, the garden, looking simple but in fact a subtle design. I was happy I brought nice clothes so I could dress up for breakfast. A lovely breakfast we were allowed to take in a leisurely European way. My respect for US has grown. And by the way : MASS MoCA is another gem, worth visiting. ||

The Guest House at Field Farm is an incredibly unique and magical stay. If you are looking for a weekend away in the Berkshires filled with art, design, and nature... This is your place. The House is just a quick drive to bustling North Adams and Williamstown, while feeling worlds away in a peaceful and quiet setting. Julianna and her team do a wonderful job with delicious breakfasts and freshly baked cookies. We enjoyed the few mile looping trails right on property and nights by the cozy fire that transported us to a a chic '50's vibe with the original mid century modern furniture, books, and artwork. We even got to tour "The Folly" an architectural jewel straight out of a Wes Anderson movie! Staying at the Guest House also supports the mission of The Trustees, which conserves and protects historic, natural, and cultural properties all around the state. A real win win. Can't wait to come back in the winter and gaze out the window at Mt. Greylock!

This B&B is unique. It is a 1950's Bauhaus home with most of the furnishings, artwork, and sculptures (indoor and outdoor) still intact. Being on 316 acres, the grounds are beautiful, with views of the Berkshire Mts, hikings paths, streams, and a pond. Inn keepers are very friendly and accommodating. Most rooms have great views and balconies. Our room had windows on three sides and a balcony, all with mountain views, and it wasn't the highest priced unit. The location is also convenient to many of the areas best attractions. We plan to visit again.

What a wonderful getaway spot! We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The House is very unique. This 1948 Bauhaus-inspired house was designed for Lawrence and Eleanor Bloedel who were avid modern art and furniture collectors of the time. "Modern artwork adorns the interiors, and the surrounding landscaped gardens boast thirteen sculptures. The house itself is almost a museum of modern furnishings. It sits on over 300 acres and has hiking trails on the property. |Very comfortable and many of the rooms overlook Mt. Greylock. The breakfast is delicious and there are always homemade goodies available and a Keurig coffee maker for after hours treats. Close to Williamstown Center and restaurants (make a reservation at The Barn!) We have been more than once and will return again for a recharge!
