We set up our room block at the Groton Inn, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The staff is friendly, the rooms are large and clean, food and accommodations are fantastic so much so we ended up doing a farewell brunch. In addition it was so nice to have a cozy place to relax on our big day Kendall and everybody there was extremely professional and helped our celebration go smoothly!

We used the Groton Inn for our wedding hotel room block, as well as for our welcome night reception. We are so happy we made those choices!

We worked with Holly & Bethanie to coordinate our room block - they were very helpful in answering our questions and getting everything locked in for us.

Many of our guests commented on how beautiful and comfortable the Inn is. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as well, it was a perfect space for getting ready for my big day. The suites are very spacious and clean! And the property is beautiful for family photos.

As an event space, the Keep's Conservatory was perfect for our welcome night reception and our Event Manager Eleanor was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was on top of every detail and the event went perfectly. Our guests had a great time and it was a lovely way to kick off the wedding weekend!

We, along with our wedding party and many guests, enjoyed our stay at the Groton Inn during our wedding weekend. We felt taken care of, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were kind and attentive. The lobby and exterior are also gorgeous and made for some great photo backdrops. The lobby was especially wonderful for us to utilize with so many guests who wanted to spend time together outside of the wedding events, with its cozy lounge and fireplace. We also appreciated the clear and consistent communication regarding our room block for the wedding. If you find yourself in need of lodging in the Groton area, I highly recommend the Groton Inn!

Stayed here for a wedding, this place was fantastic. Service was amazing. Food was incredible. Rooms were elegant and super clean. The entire grounds were beautiful. Very warm and inviting. Will absolutely be going back. Highly recommend.

Hi Eleanor & Bethanie,

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening to start off the wedding weekend.
We had a large crown staying here for our son & his fiancée's wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill'... just around the corner.
We hosted the 'Meet & Greet' here and I cannot say enough about how everything was set up and planned.

The function room was so inviting with the fire and everyone appreciated the variety of seating... The comfortable sofas and chairs, the low top tables and the high top tables all suited different generations. To top it all were the beautiful flowers (left there by the wedding party of that day) made the room even more beautiful.

The wait staff could not have been more professional or friendly. They were efficient and smiled a lot, lending a relaxed atmosphere to the evening. They were very kind. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all.

The bartender, Kevin, was a huge hit being that he was of Irish descent as am I and more than half of the attendees (Some of us were born there and some travelled from there for the wedding).

The comments the next day were that it was "The Best Meet & Greet EVER" so thank you both for all your work to make the night so enjoyable for everyone.

We truly appreciated all of it.

I can not express enough how incredible the Groton Inn is.

The venue that the wedding was supposed to be at had a tragic fire the night before and the Groton Inn pulled together a 100% last minute plan that looked better than many weddings people spend months planning.

The space, the food, and the service are all incredible and I definitely hope to be back at The Groton Inn soon

We had the absolute pleasure of staying and having a room block for our guests at The Groton Inn for October 26 wedding. From the very start, their professionalism amazed me along with their response time and patience (I had a lot of questions). I cannot say enough about Bethanie - she was an absolute angel during our wedding process and ensured that everything went smoothly during our wedding weekend. She also helped me to book their new and absurdly beautiful bridal lounge (I can't recommend this enough for brides - it is a large and elegant space that was PERFECT for a bridal party to get ready in, I honestly don't know what we would have done without that room). The suite offered different food options, and Bethanie worked with me because some of the gals in my bridal party had severe allergies. The attention to detail here was spectacular. Then, when it came time to get ready in the bridal lounge, Gretchen was helping us and was basically a fairy godmother - she got us everything we could ever need, she checked in with us, and again, was so patient and kind.

The inn itself is elegant and gorgeous, and our Bancroft Suite was massive - the floor in the bathroom was also heated, which I loved. Our groomsmen all got ready together in the suite the morning of our wedding. Of all the weddings I've been to recently, this was hands down the best place I've stayed, and I'm not being biased.

THANK YOU to the incredible team at The Groton Inn for being kind, caring, and just doing a heck of a job. I appreciate you (and so do our guests) more than you know.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Groton Inn for two nights with our family and friends as part of our wedding weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We began planning our wedding four years ago, and during that time, we worked closely with the Groton Inn to arrange the perfect stay for all of our loved ones.

Bethanie, in particular, was incredibly responsive and supportive throughout the entire process. Her communication and attention to detail made coordinating such an important event feel effortless. Although our wedding wasn’t held at the hotel, she played a crucial role in ensuring our guests had a wonderful stay.

All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the hotel, too! They were blown away by how beautiful it was and loved their experience just as much as we did.

The hotel itself is stunning, with clean, spacious rooms and a welcoming atmosphere, as well as a beautiful courtyard and great food. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and friendly, making our stay absolutely perfect. We wish we could relive it all!

We highly recommend The Groton Inn to anyone planning an event or just looking for a beautiful place to stay. 10/10 experience!
