The great untamed is the Third Place - a place other than home or work, to meet with friends (and make new ones) in a welcoming atmosphere. No loud music and no distracting TVs, excellent homebrewed drinks. No complicated fancy cocktails that hold up the barkeep and make you wait for 10 minutes to order a drink. Many entertainment options in boardgames, if you're into that, or just hang out and talk about politics, the news, science, or whatever. A very friendly and diverse crowd that you won't find anywhere else in town! Highly recommended, there's truly no other place like the Great Untamed in Laramie.

Scott has built an indispensable community spot at The Great Untamed. Every time I bring a friend from out of town, they’re awed at the communal feel and the welcoming, cozy atmosphere. I know I can find my friends there (including Scott), and that we’ll have a great time. What more can you ask of a bar? Stop in on a Friday sometime and join in on game night!

What a fantastic little place! I loved the wide variety of unique flavors (heather, basil, carrot, and beet, to name just a few) that are all tasty with vastly different flavor profiles. Service is personable and top-notch, and the overall atmosphere is a ton of fun with a fun crowd. There is also a fabulous selection of board games and some terrific karaoke on Thursdays. I'll be back next time I'm in Wyo!

A truly great place with a very relaxed atmosphere and delicious drinks. The mead is genuinely unique and fantastic. The owner seems to always be putting out new batches that are all interesting and tasty, and I have never been disappointed coming here. I find The Great Untamed to be an ideal place to relax and have some drinks with friends, and every night that I've gone there has been a great evening. Can't speak highly enough of this place.

Pretty creative meads for an amazing price. Seems to be where the queer community and the (good) weirdos hang out. Scott and the folks at the bar are great to interact with. Favorite bar in Laramie. Very social and easy to get along with everyone.

Seriously my favorite mead. Perfect- not too sweet and not too dry. Pricing is more than fair at $5/glass (and take a bottle home for $13!) and the atmosphere is calm and laid back. The Great Untamed is a must visit!
