Cool atmosphere with all the taxidermied animals. Service was a little slow but the waiter was polite and the people were polite. Overall. I got the baby back ribs and they were fine but a little bit flavorless except for the barbecue sauce. I felt like more time could have been spent getting flavor into the meat. He also got sirloin steak medium rare. It was also more on the dry side and a little overcooked. All in all, after spending $100 for two entrees and two drinks, I just don't feel like the value is there for the taste of the food.

Absolutely amazing food and phenomenal service. I will definitely be returning here in the future. The salmon was the best I’ve ever eaten and the apple cobbler cocktail was quite tasty!

We've loved coming to Gashouse for years -- great atmosphere. Great menu with very reasonable prices. Really disappointed with recent visit. Ribs were dry, tough, tasteless. Chicken was tough and lacked any character. Wild rice pilaf was soggy. Service and atmosphere was fantastic. But I'm not sure we would come back after the food experience.

Possibly my favorite spot in vail area. Great flavors with lots of game meats. If you haven’t had an elk steak yet, that’s a must order here. I also enjoyed the quail, jackalope sausage and the key lime pie.

I stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was the best random decision I ever made. The atmosphere is unparalleled (super rustic with many wall mounts of wild game), the service and staff are absolutely amazing, and the food is excellent! Lots of history in this building, many fun photos on the walls and tables of the historic past, excellent music, multiple TVs for sporting events, fun outdoor setting, just a super fun place.. I highly recommend!

Went to the other two places around it first and no one even looked at me. After dealing with that garbage for at least 45 mins I figured I'd try this place. It was great. David was the bartender and was on point. The chicken was about what the prices are at a place like this but it was delicious and I left absolutely full. And that's as much as I could ask for. I'll never go to craftsman or main grill again. But I'd come back here whenever I'm in town.
