We used The Farmhouse at Peoples light for our September wedding, and they went above and beyond.

Not only was food delicious, but they exceeded my expectations for my day. They went above and beyond with setting up any décor I provided, as well as adding additional touches like votive candles, etc.

Richard and Dawn were very warm and inviting throughout the entire planning process, and open to answering any questions I may have had. After our day came and went, Dawn and Richard provided us with a personal touch gift drawing of the restaurant to frame and hang up. So thoughtful.

Our day went off without any problems, and they were very accommodating in regards to weather changes and options as well.

I would recommend using them for your wedding venue.

We are truly blessed to have found the Farmhouse at People's Light for our wedding. Dawn was incredible from the very beginning. She was always a text, email, or phone call away to answer any questions. She is very patient and was sure to make our day perfect. She made the process completely stress free.. and not to mention the food is incredible! The grounds are beautiful for photos and the updated farm tables and bar were the perfect touch. Our day turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We had many complements on the friendly staff and romantic/garden aesthetics. If you stumble upon the Farmhouse in your wedding planning, don't let it go. It will be the best day ever with a great team to lead you through it all.

We cannot recommend Dawn and Richard enough! They were exceptionally accommodating, thorough, and generous. Every step of our wedding planning was made easier by the awesome staff at the Farmhouse. We also received tons of excellent compliments on our food, which was prepared on-site by their amazing chef. They helped to put on a beautiful wedding.

I hosted happy hours with buffet dinners two nights in a row this summer for over 100 members of a national organization.

This is a first rate operation.

The coordination with Richard and Dawn on the management team was timely, flawless, and very collegial. We visited twice for coordination and to vette the place - Dawn and/or Richard met us both times and stayed with us as long as we needed. They even opened the bar early just for two of us - bartender Steven was superb also for the banquets and our recons. Two of us stopped by unannounced a month or so before our event while on a trip to visit our bus company and dined at Fern and Fable - it was "Fableous." Richard met with us without an appointment. That dinner helped me pick the amazing food for the banquets.

Dawn and Richard were present for both banquets to ensure everything went smoothly to include the audio visual. Everything went off like like a well oiled machine. There is plenty of on-site parking. Their staff was first rate. and the value is exceptional.

I received an overwhelming number of positive comments from our attendees such as:
* WOW!!! How did you find this place!!!
* This is the best annual banquet and facility we have ever had.
* The (various menu items) was fantastic.

Before dinner, someone gave me a snarky comment of "well, I'll bet we aren't having lobster" to which I replied, "actually, we are." I received a lot of great comments on the amazing lobster mac and cheese that was chock full of lumps of tender lobster.

My colleague who attended both banquets and the impromptu amazing dinner at Fern and Fable was so impressed that he plans to have his daughter's wedding there - and that is a 4 hour drive from his house!

My daughter got married here on June 5th. I could not be happier with the way the day turned out. This venue is beautiful. The food was outstanding. Our guests raved about how wonderful everything was. I was told by many of them that it was the best dinner they have ever had at a wedding. Dawn is wonderful to work with. So flexible and accommodating. It is a great value for your money. Very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this venue. If you have your wedding here, you will not regret it!
