Went for pre Valentine's day lunch. Great location open air, large. Service is personable and quick. Open air pool where they can serve you as well. House marg was $11 dollars though. It is season and is 6 bucks from 3-5 I later learned. I wasn't real hungry so ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and though flavorful (8), quite small. Hubs ordered Cuban sand which was on a fresh crispy roll and large. That was worth it. The atmosphere was nautical and exactly what peeps come to Fort Myers and visit for.

We went here with 7 of us on a Tuesday afternoon after kayaking with the manatees. Welcome desk staff was courteous and gave us a 30 minute wait, reasonable for our size of group. We grabbed drinks from the bar and sat in the sand down by the bag games as we waited for our table(beautiful space & views). After being seated by the hostess we waited 20 minutes and had to go ask the bar if we had a server—mind you, there were empty tables I would consider the restaurant about 60% full. They apologized and about 5 minutes later we had a server. He introduced himself, took our drink and appetizer order. Drinks came back incorrect (should’ve been frozen), and appetizers took 35 minutes. We shared queso (4 stars), calamari (3), wings (4), and alligator (1). After delivery we were not given app plates (got them ourselves) and were not checked in on by our server. Plates were never cleared (in fact I cleared them myself to the bar), entrees were another 20-30 minutes. We had 3 that had the Baja tacos all have them 3 stars, flavor was good but they were cold when they got to us. My son had glazed salmon (4 stars), I had the Philly quesadilla, which I was excited about, but unfortunately, it was soaked in grease and pretty much in-edible, the curly fries that came with it had good flavor, but not one was actually a fry, they were all bits and pieces (0 stars for my meal). My daughter had the prime burger—0 stars—it was a brick that was still cold when it arrived. I am not sure if our server felt in the weeds, or hasn’t been serving long, but we cleared our own dishes to the bar, we’re not checked on and then he seemed nervous to even address us with the bill. The gal that brought our food, didn’t want to be there and seemed very annoyed when we asked for sides that were requested upon ordering. They did take off the incorrect drinks, claiming taste, and ultimately it has an amazing atmosphere and I will probably try them again at some point. My parents took us here as they have had great service and food in the past. We were all disappointed today.

will definitely be back so we can sit around the pool and have lunch
well just a couple days later and we came back to spend a couple hours by the pool and enjoy a delicious lunch. Coop was our server. Wow he is awesome. this really is an awesome place to hang out and enjoy some fantastic food and atmosphere. And then there is the pool. what a great day we had.

On our way back home, we stopped at The Boat house. The place is amazing. Loved the outdoor pool, tiki bars, and griant screen tv. We shared the seafood platter. The prices were fair and excellent service. We would love to come back, especially when the weather warms up.

We had such a wonderful experience .. we only ordered d’oeuvres it was made perfectly and delicious.. The atmosphere was incredible the only complaint was the cigar smoke . I know the hostess was annoyed by moving us twice, but no matter where she moved us. We still smelt it. The reason for this review is for the service. The service was beyond impeccable and sweet. She was amazing, friendly and very responsive. I have never had such good service.. Her name is Analijah. If you go to the Boat house request her or you may be disappointed..
Thank you Analijah for your patience and kindness to my in-laws thank you for bringing us so much joy..
We enjoyed every second of the Boat House and I will definitely recommend this place if you visit Fort Myers ..

Great ambience! Whether your want to relax by the pool or the fire pit, sit under the tiki bar and listen to live music or have good dinner and vibes. It's all here!!! Cuban and chicken wrap are never a disappointment!! Grouper tacos are pretty good too!

I’ve eaten here 5-8 times and the food always disappoints. Dishes usually lack flavor, proteins are usually overcooked, veggie sides look like they’re from a can half the time. I want to like this place because the vibe is great, the service is typically good, and it’s great location but I can’t suffer through another well-below average meal here. I will not be back unless it’s just for drinks.

Friday nights are busy but we were seated right away around 5pm. The 4 of us had very good meals. The food is large portions so I always get a doggie bag. We had wonderful waitress. Very attentive. Love there rumrunners too and you can't beat the atmosphere. The duo played great tunes.
