It is rare that the property seen online is so reflective of the physical property. We’ve stayed at a lot of properties. We’ve yet to experience a rental that has EVERY conceivable staple and refreshment we could think of. The space was clean, nicely decorated, and situated in a serene area for a peaceful experience - while being close to the Fran Hotel and downtown Fairhope. We will come back again!

BEWARE AND AVOID:

My stay at this property was an absolute nightmare. Upon arrival, I discovered that the unit was filthy and unhygienic. The sheets and bedding were soiled with visible stains and hairs, and the mattress and pillows had urine stains. To make matters worse, the roof was leaking, and after my stay, I found Google reviews mentioning black mold in the unit—which explains the sinus and health issues I experienced during my visit.

When I brought these concerns to the attention of the host, Karen, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. Instead of resolving the issues, she barged into the unit multiple times without notice or consent, showing a complete lack of professionalism and respect for my privacy. Her texts and messages were aggressive and completely unprofessional.

As someone who has been a host myself, I am appalled by the lack of basic cleanliness, respect, and hospitality at this property. The entire experience was uncomfortable, unhealthy, and downright unacceptable.

If you value your health, privacy, and peace of mind during your travels, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

I was looking for a little get a way in Fairhope. These bungalows were perfect! What a great location! Beautiful, clean and quiet! Walk out the front door and take a walk along the bay path. Sit on the front porch rockers and relax. Beth Anne, the manager was very helpful and answered all questions immediately. Will recommend this property to all of my friends and family! A must stay if you are in Fairhope!

Location is Superb, clean, absolutely beautiful.
They do need a maintenance man for certain.
Our room was bright, we like it dark at night.
Then our neighbors across the hall must have been fighting, doors were slamming off and on throughout the night.
Other than that, we will return.

Our family stayed at the Main House of the Bayhouse & Bungalows of Fairhope this past Thanksgiving and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We traveled from out of state and had family from north Alabama join us for the Holiday. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The weather was great and we enjoyed being able to enjoy front porch swinging and catching up. This property is very convenient to Downtown Fairhope where there are fabulous restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed being right on the bay, the view was incredible. Hope to be able to visit again!
