Our wedding planning began with a visit to the Barn on the Pemi, and we were instantly captivated. Its picturesque setting, complete with a charming greenhouse for the ceremony and breathtaking mountain views, left a big impression. What's more, the Barn provided everything we needed, sparing us the hassle of sourcing rentals. With tables, chairs, utensils, linens, and more included, it was just perfect, especially since we had decided on a short engagement.

After our initial visit, I turned to my now-husband and said, "I loved it. Please tell me we don't have to go look anywhere else," and he just smiled. My dad couldn't stop raving about the expansive menu either; being a Common Man property, the food was amazing. Our guests agreed, saying it the best wedding meal they'd ever had.

The Barn's staff were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, even accommodating a second visit so our day-of coordinator could familiarize herself with the venue. With most of our vendors experienced at the Barn, coordination was seamless, ensuring a smooth and stress-free day. The Barn is a dog-friendly venue, which was perfect because we wanted dour dog to be part of our wedding. They require someone to be designated or hired as the dog's chaperone of course, but it was wonderful to have her there with us.

Our venue coordinator, Carole, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork. From working with our day-of coordinator to keep us on schedule to ensuring we were fed and hydrated, she was a godsend. Even when my dress needed bustling or my veil went astray, she was there to save the day.

Transportation was also a breeze thanks to the Barn's trolleys, shuttling guests to and from nearby hotels effortlessly.

In every way, our wedding day was incredible, and the Barn on the Pemi proved to be the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

Our 7/4/24 wedding was everything we could have imagined and more thanks to The Barn on the Pemi and their AMAZING coordinator Carole!!! The Common Man’s catered food was delicious - we got endless compliments dinner and desert. The rustic looks of The Barn are breath takingly gorgeous. The mountain view that The Barn has is something you’d see from a magazine. And the green house looks like something from a fairy tail.
The staff was also so FRIENDLY and hard working. We stayed at The Cabin in the Woods onsite and had friends at both the mini cabins and the Common Man Inn and Lodge which worked out perfectly for us. With that said, have your wedding at The Barn on the Pemi. You will not regret it!!! I cannot say enough good things 🙂

We recently had the pleasure of hosting my daughter‘s December wedding at the Barn On The Pemi! Krysta was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail, patience, compassion, and organizational skills allowed the day to run flawlessly despite some unexpected health issues with the Bride. From the very beginning & throughout the entire weekend, Krysta was available and took charge behnd the scenes to ensure all went well! The entire staff was kind, friendly & approachable. Despite the frigid cold temperatures outside, we were able to use the greenhouse for gorgeous outdoor pictures, and the barn was decorated absolutely perfectly! It was a true fairytale venue and exceeded our expectations on every level. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The following morning after the wedding, we came back to collect the decorations we had provided, and Krysta and her staff had everything packaged up and ready for us to load into the cars. So easy and appreciated. 5+ stars for exceptional service, and attention to detail. I highly recommend this venue. You will not be disappointed!

I had the privilege of photographing Emily and Tyler's wedding at this breathtaking venue this summer! The natural light in the greenhouse ceremony space is stunning! Very spacious reception hall as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this venue!

We're so thrilled we chose the Barn and couldn't be more grateful for our experience with Kendra, in particular! She was amazing to work with: responsive, great expertise, collaborative and incredibly helpful throughout. The setting was so beautiful and having both outside and inside space (with the greenhouse being a unique and picturesque option for the ceremony) was ideal and flexible. The farm to table menu choices were amazing and there were SO many comments from our 150+ guests that it was the best wedding they had ever attended, from the food to the service, to the setting, transportation, accommodations and everything in between. Their group tasting process (ours was in March) is brilliant because you get to try so many options, and the event itself simulates a reception, which was so useful to really know how the space would feel once full and even help with decorating ideas. We selected a DJ from their preferred list and were so impressed with him, as well. The entire staff was kind, friendly, competent and engaging. I've planned a lot of large business events and had high expectations coming in. I can honestly say they were all exceeded and we wouldn't change a thing! Prepare to be impressed with the Barn and the Common Man Inn!

Choosing the Barn on the Pemi was the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding! From the very beginning they made the process so easy! As soon as we toured we fell in love! The atmosphere is perfect and the greenhouse gives the option for an outdoor wedding regardless of the weather! We knew that we wanted a Halloween wedding, but end of October is always a toss up with weather! We lucked out and got a 70 degree day and ended up switching to the terrace! The views were breathtaking! Our coordinator Krysta was incredible! She was always there to help out with any problems or questions leading up to our wedding! She went above and beyond the day of and truly made our day so special!! By the end she didn’t feel like a coordinator, she felt like a friend! The food was incredible! All our guests have reached out to rave about the food! Overall the barn was just incredible in every aspect and gave us the wedding of our dreams!

Having our wedding at the Barn on the Pemi was one of the easiest wedding planning decisions we had to make. We had attended a wedding there a few years prior to getting engaged and it was (and still is) one of the most beautiful weddings we have attended. It is hard to choose just a few things to highlight when discussing this venue, as the positives are innumerable. The staff, the grounds, the FOOD, the location; everything about it is actual perfection. We stayed in one of the tiny cabins the night of and it was unbelievably romantic. I would recommend this venue to literally ANYONE. We are still getting rave reviews from our guests that attended and even my own father was moved enough by the event to leave a positive review of his own. If you are lucky enough to have Carole as your coordinator; know that you have struck gold! She was the MVP of the entire day and all of her efforts really allowed us to relax and enjoy the celebration with all of our guests. Cannot thank the staff enough!

As a wedding photographer, I've been to my fair share of venues, but The Barn on the Pemi definitely stands out!

First of all, let me start with the view. Holy cow, it's like something straight out of a postcard. The White Mountains in the distance provide the perfect backdrop for stunning outdoor photos. And the barn itself? It's rustic charm is enough to make any wedding photographer swoon.

The staff is top-notch too! Kendra was incredibly accommodating. She was very upbeat and checked in with us vendors throughout the day to ensure everything went perfect on the timing end.

But let's be real, the best part of any wedding is the food. And The Barn on the Pemi delivers in spades. I may or may not have taken some home in my camera bag. The Barn on the Pemi is the perfect spot for any couple looking for a laid-back, gorgeous, and delicious wedding. And as a bonus, it's a great place to stock up on leftovers for the drive home. Just make sure you leave some mac and cheese for me!
