We shot a wedding for a childhood friend of ours here at this venue. The venue is gorgeous and laid out well! The bridal suite is a bit smaller than I'd prefer as a photographer, BUT that is my only "complaint." The bridge is a beautiful backdrop for portraits and a grand exit!

Stephanie the in-house coordinator did a fantastic job keeping things on track and handling a few troublesome guests. Being former military, her organizational skills were superb keeping things on track while still letting the couple breathe. Any bride and groom is in for a treat here.

I knew we had picked the perfect venue prior to our wedding last night, but the way the owner, coordinator and her staff took care of every issue that arose truly confirmed my decision! From the time we got there to the time we left everyone was so attentive to our needs, the ceremony was beautiful, we opted to use the officiant the venue provides and she did an amazing job of making it a short and sweet ceremony. After that was when things got interesting haha. We chose to have pizza delivered for our meal because we thought that seemed like the easiest choice, unfortunately that was not the case thanks to the company we chose to get the pizza from. They were over an hour and a half late with our order, but the coordinator and owner of the venue were doing everything in their power to keep the day going smoothly. I believe someone from the venue ended up having to track down where our food was and go get it themselves, and on top of that, Fred got the pizza company to give us all of our money back, along with free dessert! Our guests all said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they’d been to, which is saying something since I didn’t contribute to the decorations at all, we ended up using everything the venue had on location. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much to Fred, Stephanie and everyone else who helped make our day so incredibly special for us!

Owner is very kind, personable, hard working and just a down to earth true gentleman. The barn he built is beyond gorgeous for any event, photo shoot session and more. There is 5.5 acres of breathtaking property to utilize on this special lavendar farm. It's only a 1 hour drive from Houston too! Our entire family truly enjoyed my stepsisters wedding at Lacey Farms over the Thanksgiving holidays. Thank you Mr. Lacey!

My husband and I were married at Lacey farms in October of 2022, and I could not recommend it more highly. From the moment we met Mr. Lacey, he was a straight shooter - which was so nice after interacting with many wishy washy people at other venues. Within minutes of meeting him, he provided a print out of the packages available with clear line items for costs and no weird or unclear service fees. We had the property starting at 10am and had plenty of time to setup and break down without feeling rushed, and the pictures turned out spectacularly with such a pretty setting.

Additional perks: included wedding planner (specific to some packages) who really helped to streamline the process 1-2 months out, decorations available for use (I'll go into detail more in a minute), and recommendations for local vendors that were vetted by Mr. Lacey and the property. Parking is also onsite which made it really easy for guests to arrive and depart as needed. Mr. Lacey has several large closets with assorted signs, wood slices, greenery, vases, lanterns etc that he said we were free to use (no additional cost!). Tables, basic linens, and chairs were all included in the original cost of the package. Comfy spaces for the bridal party to get ready (one for groomsmen and one for bridesmaids). On the day of the wedding, Mr Lacey and the wedding planner were onsite, assisting with setup and available to trouble shoot any issues.

We were on a budget but were able to have a wonderful wedding, and Mr. Lacey and the wedding planner worked with us every step of the way to customize the experience. We utilized Nathan's BBQ for our catering (it was delicious and offered a chips and queso cocktail hour), HEB in Brenham for flowers and grooms cake (turned out beautifully and they went above and beyond on the decorations when they found out it was for a wedding), Naturally Flawless Beauty Suites (from College station) for onsite hair and makeup. The bridal party rented an airbnb 6 mins from the site to just make everything smoother the day of, and it was perfect.

FYI - The property does have some strict rules for alcohol use on the property and only one bartending service they will work with. These rules were very easy to follow for the bridal party and group setting up, and did not impede our celebration in any way but something to be aware of when booking. Franny's bartending was difficult to reach and coordinate with at times, but it worked out nicely in the end. Mr. Lacey was very upfront about these rules the first time we met with him.

Overall, the day was pretty perfect, and The Barn at Lacey Farms made it possible!

Beautiful venue (the only reason for the 2 stars) the security we HAD to use was the wedding planners husband which really isn’t an issue. The wedding planner was super rude to everyone but the bride n groom (me). Then to top it off when we did our grand exit which was after last call they threw everyone’s drinks away that were left on the table whether they were finished with them or not. Would not recommend this place for anyone looking to have fun at their wedding
She gave what she got from the coordinator who was very rude from the start and she was upset because yall basically kicked us out 3 hours early for no reason. My aunt even tried to help her with the place mats and she was rudely told not to help and we have tried to meet with you to get your dolly or you are more than welcome to come pick it up
