The location of the hotel is great, easy to walk around the city. Even though the room was small and the bathrooms are shared with other guests, there was no problem with noise or dirtiness. Only two issues occured, it was not possible to regulate temperature in the room and the water in bathrooms was really cold. Considering the little time we spent there, it was accurate to what we needed.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I could tell cleanliness was not a priority—the room had an unpleasant smell, and to make matters worse, I found hair on my pillow. When I went to take a shower, I discovered there was no hot water at night or in the morning, leaving me unable to freshen up after a long day of travel. The common bathrooms were even worse—filthy, unkempt, and in desperate need of attention. To top it all off, the heating was turned off for most of the night, and with temperatures dropping to 35°F in Boston, the room felt like an icebox. I barely got any sleep, shivering through the night, counting down the hours until I could leave. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights, and it was probably one of the worst experiences. The walls are so thin so can hear the people next door literally snoring. The room was extremely tiny, even smaller than depicted in the picture. Our room was next to the washer and dryer, and the noise of the both appliances shaking early in the morning was awful. The only gave us 2 tiny towels for our entire 6 day stay, and since this was a “staff-less” stay there was no way for us to get new towels. My boyfriend had to ask the cleaning lady for some extra towels but she didn’t speak English so it was hard to understand each other. Thankfully I speak Spanish and was able to talk to her. The bathrooms were constantly dirty, people from other rooms would leave their towels all around the bathroom and no one would pick them up. One night the fire alarm system annoyingly beeped for an entire night and no one fixed it until the morning after. Although there is a subway station right across the street, subway transportation is extremely confusing in the city and there was not a lot of places walking distance from the place.

We paid $1000 for 5 nights it was absolutely not worth our money. You would think that since it has shared amenities with everyone in the building, they would compensate it with nicer rooms but that was not the case.

If you can find an actual hotel in south Boston around the same price range, I would recommend you booking that instead of whatever this is.

We had a great experience staying at this rental house. The host's responses were quick and efficient, ensuring a smooth stay. The location is excellent, with close proximity to the metro, making it extremely convenient for traveling anywhere in the city.

The room was super small, and there was effectively no climate control. The temperature would go from roasting to freezing over the course of the night, and we could hardly get any sleep. It turns out the lodging license they have on display expired over a year ago, which is not much of a surprise. Horrible conditions, possibly illegal.

Great location right in front of T station. Every thing is clean. Great shower, kitchen, TV. Need coins for laundry and bring your own detergent. Sofa bed is not comfortable. Recommend for 3 people staying instead for 4.

I would not recommend this hostel at all due to an unfortunate number of problems.
First and foremost, I was not able to enter my room the first night because they gave me the wrong code for my door. They said it was the same code as getting into the building, which was incorrect. My flight got in late (10pm), which I communicated with their team beforehand and they said it would not be an issue as long as I had the code. After I was not able to enter my room, I called their service desk and texted their help line multiple times and no one responded. There was nothing I could do. I tried to check into a hotel across the street but they didn't have vacancy. Luckily I was able to crash on the couch with a friend but this was a bad experience.
The next morning, their customer service called me to apologize and said they would refund the night. They only refunded the "rent" and none of the taxes or additional fees. Of the $240 I paid for two nights, I only got $90 refunded. When I pushed to get at least half of what I paid refunded (not including the additional ubers I had to take for this debacle) they said they would think about it and get back to me. They never did.
Customer service is terrible.
The rooms aren't great either unfortunately. The chair for the desk was essentially broken and I didn't feel safe sitting on it so I only had the bed to sit on. When I pulled the covers back to sleep, there was a dead spider that I had to pick out with a tissue.
I don't really ever write negative reviews, but this has to get better. I wouldn't have written anything if they had refunded me AT LEAST HALF of what I paid, but if you're not even going to do that, you don't deserve more customers until things change.
Would not stay here again nor recommend anyone else stay here either.

Location was great. Close to the T and walking distance to a couple places to eat and get coffee.

The room was clean but there is only sheets and a thin blanket on the bed. Would recommend adding a warmer blanket to the rooms especially as it gets cooler out.

The kitchen was poorly stocked and Missing the essentials (i.e. silverware) there were only butter knives to eat with, about 20 of them.

There were two full bathrooms to the floors. I never had to wait. The hot water didn’t work in the shower and the bathrooms were very dirty even immediately after being “cleaned.”

The area felt very safe and very happy with how the doors locked automatically.

You will not find a more affordable place to stay in Boston without staying in a hostel or someone’s room in their apartment. Will definitely stay again when in Boston.
