Attended a wedding here in May. It was planned as an outdoor wedding with the reception in a large tent. A thunderstorm necessitated moving the wedding into the tent, which worked out pretty well. The tent was very sturdy & everyone was safe from the storm outside. The temporary flooring kept our feet dry and comfortable. There is a restroom building near the outdoor event area with 3 stalls on the ladies side. The toilets were not clean & I don’t think there was any climate control, as they were very stuffy. The outdoor event area was beautiful, but the grass was a bit high, which contributed to people getting their feel wet walking to and from the bath house. Parking at the outdoor event site is also very limited. The manager drove people in a golf cart, which helped. There is an indoor event space as well, which appears to be a re-purposed horse barn.

My wife and I were married here in December 2024 and we honestly could not have asked for a better venue! The staff, facilities, and everything in between were top notch. We were seeking a smaller wedding (50-70) people so this venue was absolutely perfect for that. We went with “The Barn” since it was a Winter wedding but you can easily accommodate more people on “The Knoll” which is a beautiful outdoor part of the venue. You can also rent “The Farmhouse” which is a multi functional house on property which was great for us to have our rehearsal dinner and have some sleeping accommodations. The venue coordinator (Ashley) and everyone else were very easy to work with and were highly communicative. If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue in Boone, NC then look no further than Templeton Meadows!

We had a wonderful experience working with the Templeton Meadows team for an invite-only event last week.

Ashley made herself fully available to our staff in the planning and execution of a complex event, including making sure our caterer and event staff had the access and accessories they needed to make things perfect.

We had just over 50 people for a buffet lunch in the middle of August. The AC works very well in the venue and our guests were comfortable throughout the event.

We had three speakers deliver presentations, and their large flat screen was more than adequate to deliver the presentations in a quality manner. We brought in a small sound system due to the nature of our event, but the room is set up well enough acoustically to where that might not be necessary for every circumstance.

Our guests were able to easily park and access the facility and the setting itself was picture-perfect. I think the intangible you will come to appreciate is the location! We had to run back to the office to grab a forgotten item and the whole process took less than 15 minutes round-trip. Having an event in the heart of Boone, while also being tucked away, is a luxury at this time of year, and also gives the impression that you are "away from it all."

We could not have asked for a better first experience and we will certainly be back.

As the parents of the bride, we couldn't be more pleased with our daughter's choice of Templeton Meadows! Ashley, the staff, and owners were extremely attentive and helpful from day one. Despite light rain and freezing temps in March, the venue change to the patio worked out beautifully. Using the Farmhouse as a gathering place the whole four days we were there was a huge plus, especially for the family meet-and-greet, to get out of the cold, and for our family lodgings. So spacious. We hope to be back just for the AirBnb. Thanks everyone!

Cozy new wedding & event venue in Boone. Great view from the mountains. Catering staff members were engaging and helpful as well. Facility needs to improve the restroom facilities to receive 5 star rating.
