This is a brand new Hotel. There are not many options in Cottonwood if you prefer new or contemporary accommodations. The rooms are almost sterile and lack a visual warmth. They are mostly white with small color accents. But, the bed and pillows are firm and comfortable, and the bathrooms are very nice. They have a strange electricity system that requires you to leave one of your room keys in a slot to keep the electricity working inside your room. The small restaurant had a good breakfast at a decent price. I only gave 4 stars for location because the hotel sits just outside of old town Cottonwood sort of in the middle of nothing but it's just a short 12-minute drive from old town. This would be our first-choice destination location if they had a nice outdoor pool next to the lounge area in the back of the hotel.

Wow, what a great find -- we needed to be close to Jerome, pet-friendly, and of course comfortable. Taawaki met all our needs and then some. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, coffee, refrig, microwave - and even bath robes. The gift shop is a must see. Wonderful art. We're ready to book again for next year.

I was extremely pleased with this hidden little gem. Looking for a place near Cottonwood? Here it is. Our goal was to visit Jerome for a day trip but this lovely place is only 30 minutes from Sedona. The rooms are very clean and decorated in a simple elegant style. The lobby is gorgeous and they have a breakfast area. They also have a little gift store with Hopi items. The hotel itself is run by the Hopi tribe. They have tables outside to watch the sunset against the hills. As far as business, there was a desk with convenient plugs and the internet was fast. Comparable to any Hampton style hotel with an upscale interior. Bedding was comfortable with plenty of pillows. They also have a walking trail to the Verde river.

This new hotel is phenomenal. Spacious rooms, well-thought details and beautiful native artwork throughout. Loved the convenient location. Easy access to Sedona, Cottonwood, Clarkdale, and Jerome on the main highway with the beauty of open spaces all around. The Verde River and Tuzigoot National Monument are right out back. This hotel is a gem of the Verde Valley. Round of applause for the Hopi Nation on a great hotel that honors the heritage of the land and people.

Absolutely Gorgeous Views!
Such a nich hotel tucked away just outside of the cities. I was torn between staying in Jerome and Cottonwood and this was this perfect in between. I would 10/10 recommend ? i really wish I got more pictures of the room because it was truly immaculate.

I loved the peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful views on the back patio, perfect place to stay if you want to visit Tuzigoot National Monument or go to kayaking on the nearby river access. It has a lovely native American gallery inside the main lobby.

We were planning a trip to the area to visit family when I came across this brand new hotel. I am so happy that we decided to stay for 3 nights! The entire place is pristine. The hotel is thoughtfully curated to display Hopi art and elements of the culture. We appreciated its close proximity to Sedona and Jerome. We will be back!!

We live in Sedona & came for breakfast this morning. Taawaki Inn is beautiful, thoughtful & inviting in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal & the opportunity to speak with Chef Rhyin. Peaceful ambience, delicious food, great coffee. The gift shop/gallery is exceptionally curated. Each staff member we met was warm & welcoming. We got a chance to see the rooms & look forward to suggesting Taawaki Inn to our friends & family when they are in the area. A new, bright gem of the Verde Valley.
