I travel this country like many drivers and I read and write reviews and over a couple MILLION people have seen my pictures and read my reviews….
Sad that some reviews are replied to and the the ones talking about THE MAN WHO DIED HERE / was murdered/ hung or committed suicide here/ will not be addressed….. I’m a woman who has to travel alone .. don’t care about gossip but the truth hurts and discrimination is real. Justice and living in a free country is why we live here.. Looking and reading about the situation here last fall makes me feel very insecure. I will only come here if I can do during daylight hours….. but that’s almost everywhere but I have choices to come park here or somewhere else, I know….. this post will be ignored. LADY DRIVERS, Men, and all, beware!!
GOD KNOWS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED HERE!! He will have the FINAL WORD!
Other wise, this is a decently clean TA , with No sit down / service restaurant again, only fast food and grab and go. 50 free parking spots but and 35 reserved, I reserved the 2 times I’ve HAD to come here to ensure I have a place to park after 8pm , working hard for 14 hours …..
Showers are cleaned as well as can be considering the thousands who showered before me. Water is hot enough and plenty of steady pressure. This is not a new facility. Laundry , upstairs and downstairs lounges and gym upstairs. People can be nice sometimes and then, act like you’re their problem by being here….. They hate their job but can’t afford to try to get another one attitude. We all have choices in this country, for now, to read and ignore reviews, or not to…..
after my shower: and editing my review, ran into the female manager with her cheerful smile and BRIGHT , yellow shirt with STORE MANAGER on it, and she introduced me to the shower maintenance man, and spoke briefly to them, gave him my TIP, and asked/ found out they both have work there for 7-8 months, and were evidently not present last September….. new employees, who can’t or won’t know of the incident I spoke about above…..
If I were to get a reply about such incident, like if it indeed happened and they suddenly had to close with no explaining, so the business could resume to normal , they might get more stars to my 2 star review…

Got a tractor PM here. Straight into the bay on a Saturday morning. Shop employees were great. PM tech was thorough. In and out in 2 hours. Great job!

Early morning, I had an engine belt ripped off.
Called road service, which arrived 2 hours later, and put belt [$425].
After 4 miles, the new belt ripped off.
Mechanic who installed and followed me called for another road service.
Waited on the shoulder of I-10 20 miles west from TA until 2 mechanics arrived in the afternoon with a new belt and tentioner to inform me that they brought the wrong part.
My question: " You guys had my VIN number and the engine DD15, so how did you get the wrong part ?" was left un answered. They said they're running to bring the right part, and another mechanic arrived in the evening and worked already in the dark [$981].
Once he finished, check engine light on dash.
The shop manager Mark made it clear on the phone that it has nothing to do with belt replacement, although a quick search online showed it is indeed connected.
He said: "We have no liability nor and responsibility for that, and we can delete the code from dash with a new charge.
When after a whole wasted day and more than $1,400, I feel like I was ripped off as I had check engine light that popped up as a result of this service, but they don't feel any connection to it.

I couldn't slide my Tandems. They slid all the way back, then frozen. Rocked em back and forth.... tried it all. Nothing. Then spoke with Glen at TA Baldwin. He explained how to do an airbag dump to see if that would work. It did!!! How great was he. Highly recommend.

This my 2nd time here in two weeks. The showers were very clean both times. This is unusual for most truck stops being that it was a different time of the day, and a different employee. Thank you TA - Baldwin for the cleanliness of your shower rooms. Thanks for the extra bath towel and including a hand towel! Awesomeness!

Store was filthy and the customer service reps were rude. Example, when trying to access coolers to get drinks, the person stocking the cooler refused to move when asked nicely by two different customers. Ultimately, we had to move the stockers cart to access the drink cooler. The folks at the registers were giving folks a hard time that required a simple fill up. They demanded we give them an exact amount. Both customers left to fill up elsewhere. Super disappointed in this unprofessional experience.

(Best Shop experience Ive had) I lost my brakes on my way here from Denver and these guys got me right in. very knowledgeable honest work and a team that stayed after it until the job was complete. Alto lead Abby and Malorie through a quick tear down, the work space remained organized. Problems were quickly troubleshooted and rendered right away. These guys dont bounce around and lolly gag. Edge Transport will definitely use this TA for future work. other than that, the store and showers were clean, all facilities were open. only con is the limited parking

One of the dirtiest TAs I have ever seen.
1. Trash all over the parking lot.
2. Whole building looks unkempt.
3. Restrooms nasty.
4. Staff look entirely disheveled.
5. Reported to the cashier their issue with multiple wasp nests and how they could sting someone, they appeared/responded uninterested.
6. Standing in line to pay for my drink and a dude walked in with his Pilot cup filled it up with pop and walked out. (That’s misdemeanor theft) This guy walked right out in front of the cashier and when I told her what happened she said “oh, I didn’t see nothin.” She watched him walk out…

I abhor Travel Centers of America because this is the general trend that you will witness/experience at every single one except their largest one on I80.
