beautiful network of trails that span from around 2 miles to 8! it’s stunning but confusing. i wish there were better signs marking the different trails throughout.

It's got a well marked trail and it's definitely nice to walk around in the nature there. For me, the walking isn't too difficult there. Nothing to steep. There is a map of different lengths of the trail that you can do and the different routes are marked and color-coded.

Nice trail system; however, the markers are not always really clear and there are multiple crisscrossing trails with no markers, so it is easy to get lost. Still, a nice piece of land with pretty views even on an overcast day.

The wife and I love to walk the trails at Swayback! There's approximately 11 miles of trails broken up into 5 different paths of varying lengths. These trails are for running, walking, or mountain biking. We always try to go early in the morning before anyone is there. This way we usually get to see a bit of wildlife while strolling through the woods. Deer, rabbits, squirrels, possums, and sometimes an owl or two can be found while hiking the trails. One of the best things about Swayback is the trails are all through the woods so there's plenty of shade during those hot Alabama summer days to keep you a bit cooler.

I ride here often and really enjoy it. There are now 2 trail heads as a new loop(Jordan's Journey) was added that connects to swayback. The main trailhead parking lot has a bike wash station and a covered picnic area with a table. The second parking lot/trailhead is located near the boat ramp on Boat Ramp Road. This parking area is gravel and has a bathroom and picnic area as well as a great view of Lake Jordan from the wooden walkway.

Swayback is a great trail system for mountain biking. Hiking is welcome too but there isn't a whole lot to see in this particular trail system. It has trails ranging from a mile to 11 miles or so. Great for a close trail system to Montgomery

Very lovely hike! Very biodiverse but the trails can get alittle tricky and easy to cross from one to another without signs frequently.
