I stayed for one night because I was trying to visit the state park close to it. My stay was fine, didn't have any issues that I can think of. The bed was comfy, the room smelled good and I booked it through Expedia last minute. The lady who checked me in started off with a bit of an attitude but she loosened up.

Such a surprisingly good experience! Only paid $57 and has been the best hotel of my trip from Kansas to Alabama and back. Will definitely come here again. Room was clean and fresh smelling. There’s a cool pancake maker and you get 10% off the Waffle House that’s right in front of the hotel. I loved the decor in the room, featuring a big black and white photo of the nearby waterfall on the wall. Lady who checked me in was nice. Love this place!

It’s a typical low budget place, but they need to take out all the carpet. It’s stained and stinks in all the rooms… went in a couple to try to find one that didn’t smell.

Front desk staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Jessica and Amanda really tried to help me get a room during the 2024 eclipse weekend. Rooms are clean and had good view from 220. And a lot of food places and grocery stores are just 2 min drive or almost walkable. I would recommend this hotel.

Positive: Not one thing. Negative: The cleanliness, the a/c not being operational and the staff rude behavior. Also the violation of the staff medical information being exposed.

Two night stay. Booked a construction crew next to us that did alcohol, drugs and no respect for others. Roms clean, tv did not work.

Me and my family do a lot of traveling and this was the WORST hotel we’ve stayed at so far. So to start, the front desk clerk didn’t show up for over 15 minutes (she was on the potty, we could hear it) then when she showed up, we explained we had two rooms reserved. Requested 2 rooms close by but all she had was two at opposite ends of the halls. Apparently they were “booked” up but even at midnight there was only 4 other vehicles in the parking lot. We take the rooms available. Walked or two teenage boys to their room and when we opened it, the smell of septic gas almost knocked us down. Room smelled horrible. The boys went in to wait while we checked out room. Got in our room and everything in the bathroom was soaking wet all the way to the carpet in the bedroom. We noticed the ceiling was wet in the bathroom and the hall way. Fine, well let the clerk know and get some extra towels. It’s just one night we said we can deal with the issues. My wife got woken around midnight to the sound of water pouring from the ceiling. The clerk at the front desk the morning of check out said there was nothing she could do because we booked thru a third party company. So I guess they’ll just leave the plumbing issues to the third party complies to come fix. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. There are plenty better places not far from here.
