I received the Sunset Food Tour as a birthday present. Victoria was great navigating us through the rain storm to our destinations and telling us interesting facts about old Tampa, including why the buildings can only be a maximum of 42 stories high. The food at the beautiful Oxford Exchange, Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana, the Melting Pot Society was delicious, capped with a stop at the Peterbrooke Chocolatier. We enjoyed the tour and the interesting people in our group.

We had a really great time with Victoria even though it rained during the first part of our tour. I believe the food choices were different enough to satisfy the palate with different tastes and textures even with a four stop stroll through downtown. The elements of history mixed with the food made for a wonderful afternoon. Victoria’s passion was the reason this tour was a success against the odds of the brief downpour. We will be looking into different food tours anywhere we go now that we have had this one. What an excellent experience.

Our tour guide Victoria was great. She was very knowledgeable about the local architecture and history. The restaurants she took us to were delicious and the variety of cuisine were very nice. She is clearly a foodie as we also got a lot of awesome suggestions about other places outside the tour all around the Tampa Bay Area.

We have been on numerous food tours and Victoria is an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Tampa even when we asked more random questions. She is very personable and seemed to genuinely enjoy getting to know all of us. She texted us recommendations she had mentioned for other activities immediately after the tour. She does not pick the route or food so the remainder of this review is feedback for the company. The last stop at the Social Melting Pot was not as strong as the others. It is part of a chain and the food was not as good. Also, a bit odd to have the chocolate stop before the fondue (last stop). Even though it would mean a backtrack on walking the food sequence would be much improved.
