Disgraceful Treatment and Incompetent Management

The way management at Hyatt House Denver Tech Center treated my mom was absolutely appalling. She was consistently disrespected, ignored, and undervalued, despite her dedication and hard work. In my opinion, they hire people who are not properly trained for their roles and place them in positions they may not be qualified for. It’s clear that the managers struggle to effectively run a team, creating a toxic and hostile work environment where employees are made to feel disposable. I wouldn't recommend working here unless you're prepared to deal with poor leadership.

I've been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and have never come across a less professional organization. Pay was average for the industry, and benefits start fairly fast. That is where the positives end.

There is zero support from the corporate office, in fact
they ignore their properties until the issues overflow to the point of brand involvement. They don't mention how far they've let issues go when they recruit you though, and they give their new hires (management included) no support in fixing said issues. If you think that asking for assistance is the answer, you may as well update your resume because you won't get it. However, they will surely come down on you full force when things aren't perfect though.

Finally, avoid their older hotels at all costs because they will leave you high and dry to fill their new builds. Don't expect anyone to admit it though, and don't think that you'll have any say in revenue management or property improvements because you won't.

Do yourself a favor, keep looking.

Stayed at high plans hotel by dia was kicked out the same day and my money was taken just paid $500 Elise the general manager and Stephanie were in my room going through my belongings. Took my money and kicked me and my family of 5 out. All because I caught them. I clearly had my do not disturb sign on my door I had left and forgot my money only to return a few minutes later and them going through my personal belongings. So obviously they were watching the cameras waiting for us to leave. Or my room has hidden cameras. Please read my review on there page. I need someone to contact me . Had a decent experience my first time around at a 3 star hotel. I was laid off to be denied unemployment and hired back at a 2 star hotel. My first week back they only had the 1st of 3 floors opened but opened sales for the whole building. I had to walk 30 guests to another hotel. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Their hotel was unsafe and they refused to do a transfer. I was hired under false pretenses and blamed for management responsibilities. Really unprofessional.

I cant believe what i seen i was at the holiday inn express i hadnt even checked in yet when i noticed the maintance men outside making a drug deal with I believe another guest because the 3of them went into the hotel.after seeing that I decided that i was not staying there i went accross the steet to the days inn to stay.if the hotel has drug dealers that work for them what does the management do?
